ANKI Vector Quick Review - Will He Live?
I was confused until I viewed your video. Thank you for your help!!!
Oh hell yes! Done and done! Tx 😀
Throwing away those two things works in my case too, thanks bro! To open the stuck aerator (mine is different model), I used rope and pencil (trick from another video).
Hello this worked wonders! Ran hot water, then 2 cups of vinegar, then went outside and used my shop vac to suck all the gunk out. Lastly, mixed bleach/water and ran it through the pipes to kill the remaining bacteria/build up. Also, if your SAFE-T drain pipe is full, make sure to suck that out too. Wait 10-15 mins then turn your AC on. It should work! Thank you!!!!!!
The aerator keys dont work on my Moen . Apparently some need a special proprietary key... these universal ones dont work... supposedly?? its the black finish ones
Moen bathroom faucet here. In addition to white "cartridge" there are two thin disks--a white and a blue. Can I leave one or both out of the assembly? Thank you in advance.
Thank you!!!
Great video 👍🏼Your Awesome !!
Watching this video I realize why my water sprays now. The "plumber" who was fixing my pipes realized there was a water pressure problem. He took out the aerator to "fix" the flow problem, but did not replace the aerator. Now my faucet sprays water. He said because there is a blockage, but now I know that is not true. Hopefully I can purchase an aerator for my faucet. Thank you for this video.
I hate the low water flow from my bathroom faucet. I can literally brush my teeth, iron a shirt, get dressed, and brush my hair before hot water MIGHT finally be available. I can’t pull those pieces apart from the aerator, so I improvised with a knee-hi stocking which I now have on the faucet. Voila! Water pressure like the old days and the residual spray is contained as well.
😊😊
i love this video, you are the man
My husband left the safe t switch off the pipe and the bottom filled with water for days. We discovered it and cleaned the water up. But I’m wondering , Any advice on what to do next?
bruh ...
I can’t find the float drain 😅
I really hate moen facets
Do NOT use vinegar. Use everyday "whatever" brand dish soap. The same dish soap they use to clean the animals from an ExxonMobil oil spill will do, which is any generic or otherwise dish soap. In the HVAC community. We no longer recommend Vinegar and/or bleach. ONLY DISH SOAP. It only takes a few drops or squeezes and then follows up with a liter or so of hot tap water. You do not have to reach boiling point with the water, just straight from the hot water heater to your tap to your liter or jug, pitcher, cup or whatever....and into your clean out cap for your hvac drain line. Don't worry about how much soap or how much hot tap water, just don't go crazy and please for the love of God, do not pour the water inside the pipe, too fast. You will end up overflowing the system and causing water to fill your float switch reservoir. Filling the reservoir in the float switch will kill power to your system in most cases, depending on how the installer chose to wire it. Doing that can potentially cause you to incur a service fee if you call your local hvac company because you didn't realize what you did wrong.
Long hauler can take ivermectin treatment and they will be just fine as long as they never took any of the new jabs
Thank you so much, you are a blessing.
The visual layer of the coil does not mean it’s not dirty the inner layer is most likely to be dirty 👍🏽
Saved me $20. I have the same type of Moen aerator. I cleaned them and soaked in vinegar but it did not help much. Did not know you could remove restrictor. 3 of my 4 sinks were dribbling. Did all 4 and they are shooting high pressure. Thanks.
THANK YOU. My A/C cut off in the middle of the night. I thought i would be sweating my ass off in my bed for the rest of the night unable to sleep. But nope. All thanks to you. MVP.
Wow, went to Home Depot and for 6 bucks bought that cool green tool and I am back in business. My wife wanted me to call a plumber. Just saved a couple of hundred dollars. Thank you so very much.
2:13 she's a squirter
Thank you so much, it worked! Only concern is it necessary to replace the 2 things I took out? What are those use for? Thanks
I have these same faucets..but the kitchen sink is different. I cannot remove the Aerator. I have this key but it doesnt work on the kitchen sink.
Helpful, thanks
Next time just get to the point
You have finally solved my water pressure issue. I wish I’d come across this video long ago. Thank you so much.
looks like upflow system. looking on wrong side of coil. under coil gonna be dirty.
Are These measures only for the 44mm? Is it the same for the 42mm?
Thank you so much, you saved me from having to call a plumber, and it was so easy
excellen t video. happened to me twice. thanks
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just graduated college and moved into an apartment so I have no idea what any of this was. Plus my apartment usually has maintenance to come and fix this. I noticed the problem around 10pm, called and waited an hour, called again, waited another hour then just gave up hope. A few hours later of not being able to sleep, I went to TH-cam. I was just worried I wouldn’t have the right tools, I would break something, or I would electrocute myself. But you made me feel safe once I understood what everything was. And I just used a towel repeatedly to soak up the water that was full in there. Thank you! ❤❤
This saved me. New heat pump was installed and the float/safety switch tripped in the first hour of running. Thank you.
Thank you so much this saved my life!
Great video - doing this increased water flow about 33% but I'd like to increase it 100%. I checked the flow without an aerator and that is possible. Have you experimented with making a hole in the aerator after removing the restrictor? Great video! Thanks!
Only part that I don’t get is how does plastic contacting plastic break a circuit?
Thank-you. 👍🏽
Imagine being dumb enough to believe this is saving the planet. That is our gubment for ya. Gotta get their tyranny and stupidity into everything. I do this to ALL faucets first thing. More pressure the quicker you leave the sink. Common sense I know. Thanks for the video.
Worst part is it’s about two inches away from the edge of the sink can’t even wash your hands properly the old ones you just used a pair of channel locks blow it out with an air
We were told it is clogged for another $1400 reason.
I just fix my float switch after watching your video Thanks From Florida
If you don’t have the key, a pair of tweezers will work. Just put it in two of the key slots 180° across from each other and unscrew.
Hi - I have the similar AC system and this video is super useful. However quick question, my AC units side of the drain pain (right and left side) keeps getting filled up with water and starts leaking from there. (shown around 7:30 in your video) Those sides are not reachable because coils sit over that. Any ideas how to clear the water from there.
I don’t have my drain pipe going outside. I can’t find where it goes. So can I use the shop vac on the other end (near the unit itself)?
THANK YOU!!!!! THIS IS THE SOLUTION!!!
Smh. AC stopped working Friday night for no reason I had to wait two days without AC for maintenance and it was something as simple as this.🤦 🤦. I definitely will be doing the monthly vinegar hot water Dry Vac trick lol
Saved a call to the plumber. Thank you!
New system 2 months ago. Didn't leave a cap to check drain, found a u under the handler with no cap on it, open on one side. That's the only open place for drain for me to add vinegar/ bleach.
