So if I take out the temperature sensor from its socket, it„s not necessary to drain the coolant liquid tank before that? Will the liquid leak when I take out that sensor?
Can sensor infect on starting engine afternoon, it's offten struggling to start engine, please, please answer to me 😊, do you know a problem, may golf 5 is struggling to start after few ours on heat
,how do you know if the sensor has an problem? even if the sensor doesn't work its always go to 90°(the arrow in the middle) right ? or its always on 0° ?
Hi I have a golf 5 1.9TDI and the same problem you described: at idle the RPM rises from 820 to about 1000 randomly especially when waiting at traffic lights. After traveling several hundred meters, the idling returns to normal. Did you fix it by replacing the coolant temperature sensor?
@@leojeffery8327 yes, it's the weak battery/worn alternator which causes this issue. When the battery is weak, the computer commands an increase in rpm to force producing more current. This phenomena ussualy begins when it's cold outside and the battery/altrrnator cannot provide the necessary current for the car needs.
After you drive your car, stop and open the hood, are both fans working? Turn on your AC... Is AC working? Check the fans again... are the fans working when the AC is ON? Are the fans NOT working when the AC is off? Does car overheat at idle but drops to normal when vehicle is in motion? If so, this should be the part... Thermostat has overheating issue with no breaks... temp sensor is intermittent.... I'm no mechanic, just a chick that did a shit ton of research on my baby... So take this info and make sure to do your research!
follows your videos and I always able to change the parts I want, so it works for me
