I Went along myself and I thought it was a very good event and also got my DVD's and memorabilia signed and it was a real pleasure to see some original and other era cast members that day, everyone was very friendly indeed!.the organisers and the cast members did not disappoint the super fans on that great day on Saturday 15th September 2018.And Linda Slater was so lovely and did a fabulous job on raising funds for The Good Grief Trust a great worthwhile charity out there.
Hi Josh, great to see you've taken an interest in media and streaming. Good work on the video. I hope you had a great time at the GH 40th Anniversary. Much as your Mum's phone is handy (and expensive, hope you didn't drop it as she concernedly mentioned a few times!) it's probably not the best device for recording high quality visuals. There is also the battery issue; recording for a certain length of time severely depletes the supply. Hope it's okay for me to offer some advice: in the audience, there was a man with a camera mounted on a tripod. A tripod would also keep the camera rock-steady - and save your arm from aching! Even so, such equipment is quite expensive, perhaps one can be purchased second hand? It's just an idea. Anyway, I hope you continue to do some more fun videos, develop your skills, gain experience, and most of all: have fun!
Great video man If you don't mind me asking, does your Mum ever meet up or see any of the cast that she worked with? I would have loved to have seen Imelda be the girl that came good to show that school bullies can see the error of their ways and change. Your Mum was a fantastic actor and deserved a lot longer in the show Cheers
