The thing with me is I have autism and ADHD and I am not really at a high school level I did graduate high school but I got a certificate and a college that I'm trying to apply for told me that I would have to take GED or Hiset Because of the requirements Because I wasn't a special needs program in high school And I May you still be at a first a second grade level as far as math I don't know but I just know that I don't know a lot
Thanks for this video, its motivating. I’ve wanted my GED for years. Tested once at the age of 16, I gave up after failing the math and writing test. I’m 40 now. I’m going to get my GED and further my education.
I struggle very hard with a learning disability (memory and focus problems+ ADHD+ depression+panic disorder). It's a very discouraging putting myself through very real pain and then being put back to step one hours later. It's like a Sisyphean feat . Yet I keep doing this to myself after 8 years of not being able to make it past the beginners textbook because my family just will not admit it and keeps talking like it's fine and their literally isn't a second option. In this country you HAVE to make it past the test one way or another. I was supposed to make it past highschool level math when I was 15 but still. If I have to take the practice test 100 times then I will. Not because I want to id rather ********************************** some days.ypu might as well be telling me "its okay if you experience a little bit of challenge , your going to need to expect a little bit of pain, but I believe that with a little bit of effort you'll be... sticking your hand in a bucket of used serenges in no time"! It's spychosymatically painful to me. but their is no other choice. I hate it here.
Why does my family keep setting me up for more disappointment and pain. I will never get those years or my sence of mental security back ever again. I still flinch just THINKING about textbooks.
I wanna thank you so much man you literally have so many videos to help me out with this whole GED process which is super important to me. Your a blessing
First of all I want to say “ 🙏 THANK YOU !!! “ Parker Smith for guiding me with your videos !!! They were all very helpful. I took and passed my GED . I was successful with all 4 tests . I haven’t touched school ground since 2004 . And now year 2020 I finally decided to study and earn my GED certificate . Education is everything !!! A lot of employers will not even bother with an applicant without a GED / HIGH SCHOOL Diploma . Thank you again for helping people like myself and others who are in the same boat . I appreciate your time , dedication, and expertise in general education / subjects ! God bless you brother ! 🙏💯👍 Test Prep Champion

Man I am 39 years old just turned on the 16th of July I left school when I was in the 12th grade I've been working from here on out pretty much if there's anybody in your life and they care about you they will end what nothing but the best for you but if there's people that stopping you from studying purposely you need to get away from them fast as possible
Amazing comment and wisdom, you're 100% right. You'd think that everybody would encourage you to study, but sadly, it's just not true. It's best to stay away from people who don't support your positive life goals, even though it can be painful and it can hurt. That doesn't always mean completely avoiding them, especially family members. But it means putting first things first when it comes to your studying so that you can do well. Who knows, maybe once they see the positive changes you've made, maybe you'll inspire them to work on themselves.
You're more than welcome, thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate your comment and am wishing you the best of luck with whatever's coming next for you!

What I recommend is just buying the practice test bundle thing (idk if t was a bundle or u had to buy each subject individually)
At the time , if you passed the practice test , it would allow you to take the real test for free if u took it within like a couple hours of passing the practice one
What I did was take the practice one assuming I’d pass and take the real the same night , once I passed it , I would take a 30 minute break before taking the real test and that was basically it

I need my ged
Since my disability claim paying me less than what I'm suppose to get at times, I need to get some sort of job, at least better than what my parents get paid for every day and help provide and pay for everything they have (cars, home they built, other things they wanna add). And yet, if I even get a job, even if it's just for a penny, my disability claim will be cancelled
Hats nice !
Thank you
No problem!
I’m scared,I want to start studying, but at the same time I’m nervous,I’m single mom,30 years ,i want to get ged class online
Hi, thank you for watching. Being nervous is understandable, especially when you're starting out. I hope everything goes well for you with your test. I'd like nothing more than to see you get the test done so you can move forward. Good luck with everything!
I am 55 l have a small cleaning service trust me l am so tired doing that l always want to go beauty college l thing l can do something better for my life
I passed all GED test thanks to Mr Clark who helped with tutoring. He has good tips and questions for everyone willing to join his group.I was recommended to him by a friend even though it took me time to trust in him but at the end I was happy for the good work.I want to take this opportunity to tell you all to join him in him and trust in him despite the process
No it's just a piece of paper you need to have to get a decent paying job. If you don't have this or a high school diploma you get less then everyone else who does have one even if you are a better worker.
