Oh my goodness, my heart literally stopped when I saw Dragon Knights by Mineko Ohkami in your bookstore footage! It's a nostalgic series for me and I haven't seen it in any videos so far (then again, I haven't been on manga YT for very long).
@@tsukkinotes It's a pretty good series, but can be confusing at times. If you can find scans online I would recommend giving it a try first before purchasing a volume. They're pretty cheap on eBay but I know shelf space is valuable.

oh yes yes i love my love story, as a not-so-avid shojo reader it is one of my favorites so granted i haven't read a ton in the demographic but the story is so sweet, there is also an anime if you are interested :) and thank you!

@@tsukkinotes I personally think it is compared to just the disposable ones i take from work. It has adjustable ear pieces. The only thing I don't like is it muffles my voice when I talk so I have to speak loud and proud lol
Yep, the author of I Hear the Sunspot is writing another sequel that started at the end of last year I believe. Who knows how long it will take for it to be released in English though. Also I should get back to Arslan, it’s been a few years since I read any of it.

have you ever had trouble with receiving your orders from instocktrades? or how long does it genuinely take for it to arrive? I ordered for the first time three weeks ago and it was supposed to arrive already, i contacted the carrier telling me they think the shipment is lost :(. Also i ordered another set of manga with one out of stock and they never shipped the other books to me so i’m just confused. I can see that you get ur books even though some are out of stock.
I haven't had any issues with instocktrades really but they do take a long time. I've had orders take 2 months but some only take a week. And did that order ship already? if the tracking still says something like "shipping label created" that means that it hasn't been shipped out yet, it's just sitting in the warehouse waiting to be picked up. However, if there is some movement on the tracking then that is in the hands of the mail carrier, which is a different issue. I've never had a package get lost before, but especially with things like media mail and covid right now packages are taking longer to arrive. so i wouldn't freak out unless the package has actually shipped and it has been over a month since the ship date. and regarding the out of stock volumes, i'm assuming you got like a slip in your package or an email saying they would ship it later? that also depends on whenever they get it in stock. it took a week for one of my volumes like that to ship after i got my partial order, but other volumes took over a month, and i just ended up cancelling the other ones, they gave me a full refund. sorry if this is long or confusing, if you want contact me on ig i can probably help better there.

ya the anime only goes up to like volume 11? which is only a third of the series lol,, and ya instocktrades takes forever, don't be alarmed if you have to wait over a month unfortunately
I'm still waiting patiently for my volume 3 of Blue Period to come in the mail. I'm really interested to check out Kimi ni Todoke, as I haven't read or watched many shoujo titles. Looks like something I would enjoy :) And that Hinata nendroid was a total steal! :D

What do you do when some of the manga you want is out of print and people sell them for a redicilous high price? I could buy the english version of the manga than in my language because it is so hard to find or should i wait ?
honestly i just wait to see if i can find good deals, i don't like buying stuff for the high prices people try to sell stuff at but if you have the money for it i would say go for it,, i also think buying manga at high prices encourages sellers to keep scalping because they see that people are willing to actually buy them so i just try to be patient and look around for deals,, sorry if that didn't really answer your question haha i would say go for the english version if you don't want to pay for the oop ones in your language?
I was thinking about picking up Silver Spoon cause I recently re-readed FMA and I just need more from this author, someone who already read it do you recommend it? FMA set the standard pretty high for me
oh yes i love silver spoon, but it is a much different genre, it is a slice of life story about an agricultural high school, you may like the heroic legend of arslan better since it is a political fantasy, i'm reading that currently and really enjoying it :)

i usually buy them at a store called kinokuniya in person but online amazon japan, cd japan, and ebay :)
