I just started picking up the Yowamushi Pedal manga because I liked the characters but I really couldn’t put up with the pacing of the anime, so I figured I should try the manga instead. I need to get a Yamaguchi Nenderoid to match my Tsukki one lol, they look very cute on your shelf. Volumes 6, 7, and 8 of Bloom Into You are the best in the series in my opinion, so you have some good content ahead of you. This is a great collection!
yay i'm glad you are picking up the manga! yamaguchi's nendo was a bit of a pain to get, i scooped it up on mercari recently,, and good to know! idk what is wrong with me but i've put off finishing the series for months, at this point i will probably just reread the whole thing ,, and thank you for watching

For shojo manga I recommend love me love me not, it's about a realist and an idealist towards love and I don't want to spoil a lot but it's such a great mana. I got chills after the first book.

Yes I too love sport anime’s especially baseball ones. I love cross game and basically any other series that is written by the same author. I love Major and Major 2nd and bought afew Japanese volumes of that. I also really enjoyed Ace of Diamond and I would like to get at least one Japanese volume of that series but can’t find it anywhere. Anyways, nice collection. Mine is growing too. 😊

I heard a rumor that the yowamushi pedal manga will be slowly going out of print but will still have releases for the remaining volumes for collectors to pick up before being fazed out. I watched the anime and loved it so I should probably get on with collecting the volumes before they become hard to get a hold of!
ya unfortunately i think volume 3 and maybe 10 have been really hard to find which is unfortunate but i'm just grateful it was even available :( i really wish it would blow up in the west, it is pretty popular in Japan, maybe i'm super biased but i really think a lot of people would enjoy it

Loved seeing your collection, I love hearing your thoughts on so many series! Have you heard of/watched or read Ookiku Furikabutte (Oofuri/Big Windup)? The anime only got 2 seasons, which were great, but the manga went way further and is still ongoing, although it hasn't been published in english so I've been reading scanlations online. It's a baseball series and judging from the series that you like, you might enjoy it! It has so many great characters and great development! The anime is a great place to start to see if you're interested!
yes yes yes i love oofuri, it is probably my favorite baseball series, i like it much more than ace of diamond,, i love Mihashi and how relatable of a character he is, all the other characters are also precious i love it :)) i am not completely caught up with the manga but i have read past where the anime leaves off,, a long shot but i hope it gets picked up by a publisher someday, i think a lot of people would like it, crazy how cross game is like the only baseball manga available in print in english

you should 👀 this may sound dumb but i think battle shonen and sports manga can go hand in hand, especially with the intensity of matches sometimes, i would say in yowamushi pedal some of the races do get pretty intense later in the series, defenitely got me super hype and on the edge of my seat,, and thank you!

volume 1 i got at kinokuniya and volume 2 i got at barnes and noble but i think i was just lucky and looked at the right time, volumes 1-3 are a pain to get in general rn, i'm just waiting patiently
the only full color manga in my collection are my senpai is annoying and the girl with the sanpaku eyes, i don't own any physical manhwa but i do have a video on my channel about my favorites :)
i've heard that as well that's why i may be willing to give volume 2 a shot, it has such high ratings on MAL and stuff and i agree i was kind of confused from the first volume lol
it is a little tricky to get the hang of but amazon japan is the best way to go, also CD Japan is pretty good, if you don't mind used you can go through buyee or neokyo to use mercari japan which are like proxy services or just plain old ebay is a little expensive sometimes but usually the easiest option
I've read Perfect World and it's good !! The plot is heavy in drama, but somewhat relatable with real world stuff, especially for disabled people. It's kinda an emotional rollercoaster though XD, but personally I definitely recommend it !
i like given but the romance does get a little messy, and from the first volume of perfect world it was okay but i can see the potential for it to be really drama-filled so i plan to take it one at a time :)
i love kuroko no basket exept the super power stuff they have the rest of it is accurate to real basketball I would know bc I play basketball I really suggest the anime I really love it

@@TerriKerisha it is pretty much the same as a billy it is just narrower so it can’t fit as many books long wise but yes it is deep enough to double stack, the risers I have on my big shelf are about the size of a viz volume of manga, I really like them but the only bad thing is you can’t buy extra shelves like you can with the billy so the spacing can be quite odd, I ended up just sticking a piece of wood in there as an extra shelf lol
i think starting out it's always good to either start with series you have seen the anime for that you know you will like, or start with something shorter! i would recommend a silent voice and for something ongoing that is fairly knew i would recommend spy x family :)

volume 1 i got at kinokuniya and volume 2 i got at barnes and noble but i think i was just lucky and looked at the right time, volumes 1-3 are a pain to get in general rn, i'm just waiting patiently

Are there any online sites you'd recommend to buy Japanese manga?
it is a little tricky to get the hang of but amazon japan is the best way to go, also CD Japan is pretty good, if you don't mind used you can go through buyee or neokyo to use mercari japan which are like proxy services or just plain old ebay is a little expensive sometimes but usually the easiest option
Blood Lad is a pretty good series if you want to pick that up :))

Is Given and Perfect World manga good?
I've read Perfect World and it's good !! The plot is heavy in drama, but somewhat relatable with real world stuff, especially for disabled people. It's kinda an emotional rollercoaster though XD, but personally I definitely recommend it !

i like given but the romance does get a little messy, and from the first volume of perfect world it was okay but i can see the potential for it to be really drama-filled so i plan to take it one at a time :)

@@TerriKerisha it is pretty much the same as a billy it is just narrower so it can’t fit as many books long wise but yes it is deep enough to double stack, the risers I have on my big shelf are about the size of a viz volume of manga, I really like them but the only bad thing is you can’t buy extra shelves like you can with the billy so the spacing can be quite odd, I ended up just sticking a piece of wood in there as an extra shelf lol

i think starting out it's always good to either start with series you have seen the anime for that you know you will like, or start with something shorter! i would recommend a silent voice and for something ongoing that is fairly knew i would recommend spy x family :)
