I've been watching your videos for about three years now and so much of my life has changed for better or for worse, but one of the most comforting consistencies has been the pleasure of getting to watch your videos. Thank you so much for doing what you do
I know that you didn't like No Longer Human, but you might find Yuko Tsushima's books interesting. She's the third daughter of Dazai, he commited when she was a year old and her works are often characterized as feminist (although she never applied that label) and deal with the lives of marginalized people, especially women who had been abandoned by family members. Territory of Light seems to be the most available work of hers in english ^^
Ahhh loved the haul! I literally cant wait to read 'The guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all' and hear your thoughts on it ! Also a warning for 'A Little Life' please please check the trigger warnings before going into it, so you know what yourself getting into, it's an absolutely devastating book and I still don't know how to feel about it. I read it when I was only 16, so not my best move, I'll probably reread it in the future.
The dead romantics and on earth were briefly gorgeous were really good🙈!! I remember reading the selection series back in high school and omg it was addicting but I would never read it again😭. Can’t wait for ur reaction🤩
excited for you to read more of the tfota (cruel prince) series!! it only get better in the later books imo :)) i've had my copy of a little life for about 3 years now and i still haven't had the courage to pick it up😭
yay that’s good to hear that the series gets better! i thought the first book was really fun,, and ya … i don’t know if or when i’ll read a little life but sometimes i am in the mood for stories like that
Finally someone mentions Nozaki-kun! It's one of my favorite manga 🫰🏻 And 'The selection' series has five books, the last two were released later but I don't recommend you reading them.
Ahh More Than This!! I forgot I recommended that to you lol. Honestly I’m a little nervous that it might not hold up because I read it nearly 10 (!!!) years ago now and… I was a different person then 😅… but I really hope you enjoy it!!
I'm personally not fond of A Little Life (I agree with the sentiment that it's trauma porn) but I think it'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on it if/when you get around to reading it 🙂↕️🙂↕️ Definitely look into the trigger warnings for it tho !

ooo thank you so much for the recommendation! i’ll look into her works
Ohhh the selection is so good!! The first 3 are the first storyline, so there is 5 but you have the whole first original story. :)
Also my friend said “A Little Life” was like one of her all time life changing books, very sad but so well written - I have yet to read it
currently in the middle of the second book 👁️👁️ i’m enjoying the series but it’s getting a little frustrating with the love triangle tbh 😭

I love “who made me a princess” I definitely want this in my collection but I spat my dummy out at the price 😂 £18 per volume
yes 😭 manga prices are getting a little crazy recently, at least it is a good quality full color release, the pages are pretty weighty
