    I think bone loss makes people look older than any wrinkles or fine lines. A 23 year old with lots of fine lines and some wrinkles still looks younger than a 45 year old with very little or no fine lines/wrinkles. Tretinoin will only do so much.

      I believe recent research concludes that taking vit K2 in addition to your Ca plus vit D supplementation is recommended for preventing calcification of blood vessels and deposits in organs. It helps transport calcium to the bone cells. Always check with your doctor first. Vit K"1" promotes blood clotting. I don't believe Vit K"2" is prothrombic, though.

    I’m curious now if strong bones are associated with looking younger? The women on my mother’s side of the family all look much younger than they are. We have a history of never breaking any bones even in pretty severe car accidents. Could just be a coincidence…I’m just hoping the genetics got passed to me too lol. But I already get mistaken for being in my twenties so I’m hoping that means I’m going to be just as lucky in my 50s and 60s… fx

    I've been using the same Command hooks for many years and never had one fall or come off the wall. I have them all over my house. Maybe it is your climate. It is important to clean the wall/surface and the back of the hook with isopropyl alcohol and press the foam adhesive strip for 30 seconds. If there is any dust or oil on either surface the adhesion will not stick. I also don't use the hook for 24 hours after hanging the hook or Command product. Hope this helps. Enjoyed the video.

    I'm 35 and a smoker. I have noticed that I've lost volume and I appear older even though I don't have wrinkles. It's a combination of fat and bone density loss and it makes me feel bad cause I can't do nothing about it unlike with wrinkles and other skin problems that you can dramatically improve with a good skin care regime 😢
    I also wish so much to be able to quit smoking one day... ☹

    • @kelley804
      @kelley804 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I smoked on and off for 9 years (mostly on). I quit when I was 27. And let me tell you, I really thought I would never be able to stop. The first 2 weeks are really really hard. Around 3 months you’re wondering why you didn’t quit sooner and you start to feel amazing. It’s been 2 years now since I smoked and I can’t imagine ever smoking again. I just constantly reminded myself why I was quitting. I really hope you’re able to quit. After a little bit of time you’ll feel so much better and you won’t miss it anymore mainly because you do feel so much better physically and even mentally. Good luck! 💕

    Thanks for this information. I heard a long time ago that your facial bones shrink as you get older, which contributes to the look of aging, but I never knew much detail about it. At age 69, for the past six months or so I've been noticing enough shrinking of the jaw that my teeth have begun to feel crowded together--it's a very strange sensation. I'm due for a dental exam soon, so I'm curious to hear what the dentist will say about this.

      Hi, facial muscle workouts that put pressure on the bone help as long as you don't have trouble building muscle. They can help lift and rebuild. You can look for specific facial bone workouts on TH-cam or just Japanese facial workouts that cover everything. You can also get a facial gavel online. None of it's scientifically proven (probably because the skincare and cosmetic procedure industries would struggle to stay in business) but you can feel the muscles building if you do the exercises. I hope that helps. 🙂

    Dear Dr. Dray, I was hoping you could make a video on how to prevent UVA rays from entering through window glass in houses. What suggestions could you recommend? Example: maybe UVA protection curtains or tinted glass? Thanks so much 😊💜

    • @lauriloss4537

      You can cover window glass with uv blocking foil. I did that with windows in my apartament and I'm considering it with windows in my car. Mine has also infrared rays blocking option so it reduces temperature inside during summer. Thanks to that I didn't have to use an AC in my home during last summer. You can chose the degree of infrared rays reduction. In addition such foil during the day from outside looks like mirror so the level of privacy is also higher.

I look like a marionette puppet 😥☹️ could bone loss cause this? Is it possible I've lost bone on my face and that's why I have these awful hideous lines??? Is there anything I can do besides getting fillers to get rid of them? I can't afford fillers at a dermatologist office but these horrible lines make me so insecure and feel ugly 😧😢☹️😥
