Honestly this game looks pretty sweet in my opinion. I know NASCAR wouldn’t like it, but it would be a lot more realistic to show Bristol 3/4 full for the night race like it has been the past 2 years lol
Set AI malfunctions to “infrequent”. AI cautions are random generated and I think they’re way too common on “normal”, especially on shorter distance races. The shorter distance the race the more likely they are to have an issue.
If you told me this was Heat 4 gameplay, I would've believed you. This is definitely a skip for me. I just hate how there's no happy medium with anything, even with the sliders. You're telling me you can set recovery skill to more stable and they'll just snap it straight after being 90 degrees sideways. And on less stable, they wreck in the next corner if you made the tiniest of contact with them prior. Also, did anyone notice Chris Buescher is missing the tv panel logo?

People who are comparing this game to iRacing need to realize this is a *console game.* If you want to play a realistic game with your wheel then play iRacing. But for those who like to sit on the couch with a controller in hands, they want a game like this.

You might have won the race. 😒 It's nice to see someone perform admirably at Bristol (for most of the race) because most of these TH-camrs stay in the mid 20's and they never advance because the track is "hard." Bristol used to be one of my best tracks when I played NASCAR games. I was a beast there.

The issue with the default cam is that it feels really unattached to the action because you can see WAY too much of the sky and the lights around the track. Having the camera tilt downward more like in the far chase view puts the track itself properly in frame, and keeps your neck from hurting because you don't have to feel like you need to constantly look downward. It's basic immersion.

I wish people would stop complaining about how it looks like nascar heat 4 because people think that they should have the biggest improvement when you make 5 games there has to be one that's not a big improvement and we got the tony Stewart game that was good and with most things being delayed because of the virus I am happy to get a game and stop comparing it to iracing and nr2003. Iracing is a thousand dollar setups and nr2003 is a computer game and heat games are 50 dollar games
Okay a couple things-- F1 2015 - Baseline game. F1 2016 - They add R&D points. F1 2017 - They expand R&D to over 100 upgrades. F1 2018 - They add ERS to improve the strategy within races, and an interview system that influences the morale of your team. F1 2019 - They add silly season movements, they introduce F2 into the game, and actually implement it into the Career Mode in some degree. They add more cut-scenes to the career mode, and they also improve the AI to be more aggressive on offense and defense. F1 2020 - They add an entirely NEW mode to the game, where you create your own team, have to manage facilities, make upgrades to actual departments (instead of just numbers on a screen) AND hire a real life driver to be your teammate at the team. ALL OF THAT, on top of changing the competitiveness of each individual team and driver, every single year, and creating new models of the cars to match their real-life counterparts. I’m not even sure the 3, 4, and 5-star ratings have changed in the last 2-3 games. So YES, it is INCREDIBLY reasonable for people to expect actual improvements from the games, to where it doesn’t seem like they’re buying the same game over and over again. That’s literally 6 years on the same generation of console, that were all fundamentally different than the one that came before it. Secondly, bud, if you’re spending anywhere near $1000 to play iRacing, you’re getting fucking robbed lmao You can run iRacing on a laptop, and once you sign up you get certain tracks and cars to race with. The only thing you HAVE to pay for, is the membership, and you can get a 2-year membership for less than $100. $100 for 2 years worth of content on an actual sim, vs $100-$120 for 2 years of NASCAR Heat games-not that much of a difference to play a much better “game.”
Thank god they fixed the fuel gage on the screen in the cockpit it was bothering me a bit . Tell them that they have to make day races for Richmond and darlington . And get them to make the hood flaps to work like roof flaps because in Daytona and talladega they open while driving . And need 2 left tire pit to . # Make nascar better
Ther should be camera flashes from fans at every race for example if you have a small amount of fans you wouldn't see any flashes meaning nobody likes you but as your carre progresses and you earn more fans you start to see more and more flashes per race also you should have it setup if you race dirty or clean you can loose 😉 your fans or gain fans

Iracing is so much better. This dont even look like it changed from heat 4... everything is regurgitated, and the late models dont feel like late models. The tire wear model is trash as well.
