Ah Nate. I've loved your work for years. I cannot wait for the years of content you'll bring us with Starfield. Great Lore video. The story of humanity in the cosmos is just so interesting to me

Ty for making these lor videos im glad to see you are still here doing this. Loved your fallout series lore dives and secrets cant wait for more starfield content!
Hey Nate, I've been a fan of yours for a few years via your Fallout videos. This... was fantastic. The game doesn't really do a lot (at least so far, for me, at Lv.15) of telling you who is who and what's been going on, having a primer like this is exactly what I needed to help figure out where I fit into the big picture. Thank you for this!
im excited to see you continue your excellent work in starfield as well. im not gonna watch this yet as i want to discover as much as i can without spoilers but im looking forward to your starfield content. just wanted to stop by and leave a comment and a like to help support you, keep up the great work man!

PS: The soundtrack from Stellaris couldnt be more fitting... ;)
Man!! That video of yours should be part of the game! A cinematic introduction with a synthesis like this would have intensified the initial immersion. Like we were actually part of that universe, instead of asking everyone about these facts, like we have lived our entire lives under a rock hahaha
Looks like someone is having a lot of fun with Starfield! Seriously though getting so many videos this quick is amazing, and I love it! I also know that feeling when you are having tons of fun with something and just want to share more of it!
5:12 wasn't it the first iteration of the grav drives that ripped the magneticsphere out of earth? I may be wrong but I could have swore on my first playthrough I found an abandoned base that came to that conclusion.
I think that was left out due to potentially being a spoiler. I dont want to say more and ruin anything for anybody, so much great Lore to explore in game, as it is with Bethesda :).
Yes the actual grav drive was discovered by a time traveling scientist from another parallel universe that gave it to his parallel self. Possibly knowing it would destroy Earth in the process.
@@reedcoffman3210 honestly, I don't think it was a parellel self, in the sense we don't meet a parallel self there. Terrormorphs are no joke. I ran into a few on Gagarin in the bush. First one I took down easy. The second one....the second one wasn't. Apparently they can cloak themselves and can...talk at you like some form of psychological warfare. It was honestly unsettling. Glad I got me a good old earth shotgun for things like that.
The reason the UC lost the Colony War was that once the civilian ships joined the battle on the Collective side, the UC ships refused to fire on them and just kinda sat there while they all got blown to smithereens, refusing Admiral Sanon's order to return fire. The civilian ships also placed themselves to serve as shields for their military vessels, meaning that if the UC fleet wanted to advance, they would have had to have annihilated the civilian fleet first. The guy is as pragmatic and cold as they come but ordering his execution was definitely harsh.
I like how the New Game + mode is packed into the story, and to get the best stuff requires multiple playthroughs, multiple chances to do it all again or even just skip the main story and rush to the next playthrough, getting ever more powerful with every cycle
There's a mystery I've stumbled upon, there's this ability called, "Sense Star Stuff." During my test in the Lodge, I've made a discovery that is weird.
