Steller work man, I'm excited to see the next iteration. I'm guessing you are using WHIP's Wham and Lamp scripts. did you achieve this launch by modifying the Detach time variables?

Yes this was the most stable model that has been made

Have you considered revisiting this with the new Grid AI?

How do you make the weld/detach mechanism?

Just for testing purposes. Could you see how it does near a planet? Like if you launched it and it dipped into the gravity well?

There may be a chance you never read this but in the off chance that you do I’d like to ask a question. How did you eject the missile/torpedo from the launch bay? Did you use artificial gravity acceleration or did you do something that required mods?

Just saw a previous comment from a few months ago saying that you used a script to accomplish this. Would it be possible to accomplish the same thing without a script?

@@imitablerain3983 yeah you could use a timer block to turn on over-ride controls on the thrusters on that side (Or just one) and then turn off after- say 2 seconds

Thx for the reply. I’ve been trying to find ways to create gps guided missiles in space engineers I’ve got an idea as to how I want the missiles to look and behave from another video I just need a way to launch them. I plan on building a replica of a US Navy guided missile destroyer and implement the vertical launch systems that they have on board to launch my own missiles.
