It is difficult for an average individual to use eco friendly materials, because it's cost is high
And now Greta thunberg is a rich kid , her father is a actor and her mother is a pop singer and her sister is a singer

ram mane Mars doesn’t show 0.0000000000001% of the richness of shapes, textures, colors and dynamics we have on Earth. Considering Mars a second Earth is ignorance and idiocy. Musk is right that we can preserve crucially important remains of humanity on Mars, but that’s not the same as preserving humanity and definitely not the same as preserving this magic planet we call Earth.

Her concluding words at the end of the video are a perfect comeback to anyone who calls her a leftist or an agenda carrier. She is just trying to help the humanity from self-destruction. Be it a leftist, profiteer, politician, industrialist, or the wild animals - everyone will be equally affected by climate change. It's time we realise this and unify with single-minded determination, sans personal or political prejudices, for bringing change in the economic rules of every country. Only We the people can do it.

One crisp winter morning in Sweden, a cute little girl named The Angry Beaver woke up to a perfect world, one where there were no petroleum products ruining the earth. She tossed aside her cotton sheet and wool blanket and stepped out onto a dirt floor covered with willow bark that had been pulverized with rocks. “What’s this?” she asked.
“Pulverized willow bark,” replied her fairy godmother.
“What happened to the carpet?” she asked.
“The carpet was nylon, which is made from butadiene and hydrogen cyanide, both made from petroleum,” came the response.
The Angry Beaver smiled, acknowledging that adjustments are necessary to save the planet, and moved to the sink to brush her teeth where instead of a toothbrush, she found a willow, mangled on one end to expose wood fibre bristles.
“Your old toothbrush?” noted her godmother, “Also nylon.”
“Where’s the water?” asked The Angry Beaver
“Down the road in the canal,” replied her godmother, ‘Just make sure you avoid water with cholera in it”
“Why’s there no running water?” The Angry Beaver asked, becoming a little peevish.
“Well,” said her godmother, who happened to teach engineering at MIT, “Where do we begin?” There followed a long monologue about how sink valves need elastomer seats and how copper pipes contain copper, which has to be mined and how it’s impossible to make all-electric earth-moving equipment with no gear lubrication or tires and how ore has to be smelted to a make metal, and that’s tough to do with only electricity as a source of heat, and even if you use only electricity, the wires need insulation, which is petroleum-based, and though most of Sweden’s energy is produced in an environmentally friendly way because of hydro and nuclear, if you do a mass and energy balance around the whole system, you still need lots of petroleum products like lubricants and nylon and rubber for tires and asphalt for filling potholes and wax and iPhone plastic and elastic to hold your underwear up while operating a copper smelting furnace and . . .
“What’s for breakfast?” interjected The Angry Beaver whose head was hurting.
"Fresh, range-fed chicken eggs,” replied her godmother. “Raw.”
“How so, raw?” inquired The Angry Beaver.
“Well, . . .” And once again, Greta was told about the need for petroleum products like transformer oil and scores of petroleum products essential for producing metals for frying pans and in the end was educated about how you can’t have a petroleum-free world and then cook eggs. Unless you rip your front fence up and start a fire and carefully cook your egg in an orange peel like you do in Boy Scouts. Not that you can find oranges in Sweden anymore.
“But I want poached eggs like my Aunt Tilda makes,” lamented The Angry Beaver.
“Tilda died this morning,” the godmother explained. “Bacterial pneumonia.”
“What?!” interjected The Angry Beaver.. “No one dies of bacterial pneumonia! We have penicillin.”
“Not anymore,” explained godmother “The production of penicillin requires chemical extraction using isobutyl acetate, which, if you know your organic chemistry, is petroleum-based. Lots of people are dying, which is problematic because there’s not any easy way of disposing of the bodies since backhoes need hydraulic oil and crematoriums can’t really burn many bodies using as fuel Swedish fences and furniture, which are rapidly disappearing - being used on the black market for roasting eggs and staying warm.”
This represents only a fraction of The Angry Beavers’s day, a day without microphones to exclaim into and a day without much food, and a day without carbon-fibre boats to sail in, but a day that will save the planet.
Tune in tomorrow when The Angry Beaver needs a root canal and learns how Novocain is synthesized and that Michelle Obama is really a dude named Mike Obama.

@@lumpytimberman7286 You keep copy pasting that story (that you didn't write), but it still misses the point.
The objective is to save our own future, not to "save the planet". The point isn't to stop using hydrocarbons everywhere and have people die, but to use them within "carbon neutral" limits and reach an optimal balance so we can stabilice the situation and reduce/prevent the deaths that will be caused (and even now are currently being caused, 5 million a year) by the extraordinarily hot and cold temperatures.

Good for Greta. Andrew Tate is boring to listen to, only moderately attractive HE NEVER SHUTS UP, keeping up a constant stream of chatter to mesmerize people away from their own thoughts. All the men that worship Tate have no conviction of themselves and Tate convinces them that abusing women is the way to go!! Shes a good speaker actually. I don't really like her but most of the things she says are quite basic but she still makes it sound like(almost) a revelation. And when you look at what she says - she's using communicative tricks rather than just the truth.
"leaders have failed you" - not true, at best she could say they are currently failing but with or without her we will find a way to survive so you can't conclude yet that they have failed. Similarly about "stolen my childhood and my dreams" - nah, they havent done that to you, thats your own and your i guess parents drive that has stolen your childhood - and you are still fighting for your dreams as well as you can only lose your dreams when you yourself agree to it.
But these hyperbole techniques are prevalent in proverbs as well which greatly focuses one something and often is directly incorrect in the ultimate sense and yet are very powerful commucative tools regardless. "Nothing new under the sun" is an example where the closer truth actually that there is nothing identical under the sun. Atomically that's practically impossible. But it still paints a powerful picture regardless of whether true or not.

Common people like us can't do anything about the carbon emission or pollution unless the leaders do something.we can plant trees and stop dirtying at our best but that is not enough unless the undertaking is not from a supreme level.

Also, being "carbon neutral" means that you achieve net zero carbon emissions by balancing the amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount sequestered or offset. It does not mean that you entirely stop using hydrocarbons forever.
It just means we should only do it only to the point that it doesn't lead us to our own self-destruction. It's not about protecting the planet, it's about protecting ourselves, our future.

Self righteous religiosity and mammon have joined forces to threaten the lives of countless international populations over our planet, as we'll as the peaceful existence of the survivors.

And there is nothing in the world without Carbon emission. The yacht she took to travel to new york can never be manufactured without a zero emission environment in a factory. she still needs to know the hardship of life.

@@mrunning10 ps first electric car was back in the 30 I think?

    • @mrunning10
      @mrunning10 ปีที่แล้ว

@@thomasanderson1969 doesn't matter, who cares? The "electric car" is NOT the "solution" As always the climate change deniers say the same thing, "and just how is that electricity generated?" In this point, they are crazy deniers and are right.
When you do the MATH, calculate the EFFICIENCIES, current electric cars are more efficient, the electricity is bulk generated and then distributed to the charging location, and then converted into TORQUE which propels the car. For gas the efficiencies are less because of the bulk refining and then the transportation of that stored energy (gasoline) to a point of distribution and then the car's internal combustion engine (overall efficiency ~30 percent) converting that stored energy (gas) into TORQUE.
What MATTERS is HOW stored ENERGY is produced. Not "hybrid" or "electric" or "steam" or "gas" or whatever. All of these are just a TRANSITION to non-carbon using a platform (the automobile) that we will NEVER give up.
So, what's the answer?? Sorry to break your world view: HYRDOGEN. 300 helium bed atomic piles on the coasts, cracking seawater into hydrogen, feeding the electrical grid, and powering CARBON capture, returning the Keeling Curve to where it would be without mans' interference.
GE, Westinghouse, Siemens NOT Exxon, Shell, or Conoco are the future that will fix this fucking mess. (and new generations like Greta's not tied to the brainwashed Oil and Gas narrative)
