Who TF am I to tell Axl Rose what to do, but it'd be better for him if at like 1:04 he wouldn't add that much gravel in the lower register, yeah it's fun and sounds cool, but it inflames your vocal chords so the next bit of higher lines are much more difficult than if he would sing the lower part clean.

It's hard to me, and it's hard for my other guitar/vocalist to do it all straight, but if we trade off, we both can handle that every time, no issues. So he sings "don't stop believin'" and then I sing "Hold on to that feelin'", he sings "street light, people" and then I go up for the oh-oh- ahhhh. Then I'm out again for the next "Dont' Stop" part. Basically, I realize he's the lead singer, but just because you are the lead singer, doesn't mean you have to sing lead on EVERY part of every song. Spread out the load. But again, he's Axl Rose, I'm just some dick on the internet. I fully acknowledge that lol. PS: You can see and hear at 3:15 after he's gone without singing for almost an entire minute, probably took a sip or two of water, and he's doing a rather difficult vocal line and doing it really well. From there all the way to the end of the song is fantastic. But notice, he's not doing any ad-libs between the "Night Train" lines.

In the past with the chinses democracy lineup,they would also extend the intro too,just that axl would sing the repeated part of the intro the same way he would as on the 1st line...imo that's much better than straining his voice like he's been doing on this song especially since they reunited in 2016. Would have been better if they just skip the extended intro and jump straight into the song,instead of him straining it just to hit the notes and burn out his voice fast into the song.
