- Hello and welcome, today you join me onboard Southeastern Highspeed Trains 395019 Jessica Enis working 1F30 from St Pancras International to Ramsgate.
This journey sees us running along High Speed 1 from St Pancras International to Ebbsfleet International. Because of the nature of the route a lot of the journey is filmed running through the various tunnels so in the description I have included the times to avoid should you wish to view the sections going purely Overground.
2:30 - 6:15
8:10 - 11:50
15:06-16:35
The times between these are when I'm either at Stratford International or running through the open sections of line.
Thanks very much for watching and I hope you all enjoy the journey. My next journey is going to be from Leighton Buzzard to London Euston on-board a London Midland class 350.
You can now find me on Facebook through the group Tornado922, there you will find regular updates, pictures and videos from 2016.
Thanks for showing us the bridge near ebbsfleet!
Wonderful video Jarrod I take it this is the first ride on video's
Thank you I'm glad you liked it :) this is actually my second one. My first one is on board a Southwest trains service from Woking to Walton-On-Thames
Nice Video
Thanks :)
It couldn't be easily seen in the video but you do you go past Dagenham Dock and Rainham stations for about three minutes before going under the Thames for Ebbsfleet. The journey between from Ebbsfeelt to Ashford is much more interesting as there are no annoyingly long tunnels - you should have carried on! Along the route you get to see the River Medway, Dartford crossing, Rochester Castle and lots of nice fields.
I did indeed go flying past all of those stations and yards on the way, should I ever bring back my journeys I'll definitely look into going further down the line
For a journey, I'd recommend London Fenchurch street to shoeburyness with c2c, nice, calm route! :-)
I will definitely look into it :)
Not much scenery due to the long tunnels haha. Wow it is fast though when it emerges from the tunnels.
Yeah the tunnels were annoying but I was certainly motoring
i want to go back on a 395 now
395's are comfy
+Teejan Lowe i no there fantastic
+Scouse Trainspotter1999 Yep definetly
Can you do temple mills depot so I can see what it's like please
I don't think I would be able to get access to a depot of that nature, not without strict authorisation from the depot manager. And even then I would be very limited as to the whereabouts of my movements
Some bloke eating a subway 😂
easily the best part of the film 😂
