Just that - lights. Some pantograph wells have cameras and lights installed to see the state of the OHLE and in case of it coming down they can see the cause.
If you use a camera for filming and not your phone, try using realtime trains to get the numbers, its a great way if you cant get the numbers of MUs, doesnt always work on freight trains, but is still good.
