Adding features costs more , recent price hike has irritated many subscribers, and the customer service is roundly regarded as substandard (I.e., crap). Tell the whole truth.
@@user-td6fq7or8d I’ve checked them out along with TherapyNotes, Avatar, Delphi. Each has at least one big “gotcha”. I decided to finish programming my own and just avoid these services. If you can get a doctorate, you can probably program your own ;)
@@user-td6fq7or8d I would say each was a big enough gotcha to eventually force me to move on to yet another system. Initially, I did not want to have to build something, but I realized that the only way to get essential features, to avoid subscription and/or support fees, and to completely own my data was to start hammering. Figured it couldn’t be any worse than what’s out there…and it may end up being even better (to me) ;)
Recipe Hacker, what were the problems you saw with TherapyNotes? The lack of portability between all these packages makes it a somewhat terrifying decision, and I would appreciate any more details you care to share.
