Good Morning Pea, well Good Evening. Thanks for this video. I had one who said her mom passed away and needed $1,200 to bury her. I told her to bury her and send me the bill. She called me names I had to google to see what they meant, 😂🤣🤣😂. Hope you have a great weekend and as always be safe out there.
Only SIMPs give online Filipina scammers they NEVER met in their life money lol 😂😂😂🤣. Fool and his money 💰💰💰 parted. If you even meet her in person you still have to vet her thoroughly to know if she is genuine and still you use your brain don't empty your bank account and credit card because you are foolishly in "love" Lol 😂
that's a pretty sad viewpoint - I will trust my instincts and find most people are trustworthy. once in a while I'm proven wrong but 99 per cent of the time I have no problem in spotting a red flag.
All joking aside, it does sound like you almost have to say, "Papers, please!" when dating in the Philippines. The main things I got from this video were: 1) Trust...but verify! 2) Keep copies of all communications with your Filipina until you are legally married...and then keep them for 7 years thereafter (the Military finance specialist in me...). 3) If it smells like a scam, treat it as such. What a pity that you have to tip-toe through dating in PI. 😢 Thanks for the sobering reminder of this fact, Pea.
I know a British guy who was in an online relationship with a Younger Filipina. She would give him shower peep shows to keep his attention through Facetime, and would ask him for money until he could come to Philippines to meet her. She talked about marriage and having children for him all the time. Unfortunately, as he told me, she was actually living with another Filipino guy as his woman and the Filipino guy found out. He sent the British dude a message to "stay out of our relationship". Dejected, the British dude was angry, but not at the Filipino BF - he was angry at the Filipina so he EXPOSED HER texts and video clips/pics of her sexting him to the BF. The BF and the Filipina, apparently, had a falling out and she was trying to get money out of the British dude right before the BF had found out of her infidelity. She told him: "I had a fire and I need money immediately". The BF was so angry, he shared those text messages with her family and blew up her entire spot. I didn't hear much more about it after that.
Learning how to protect myself (18/ID and CENOMAR) is priceless, thank you Miss Pea! And being aware of the fact that the male foreigner is not in trouble when unknowingly being with a married women on like a first date with her... This video explained everything fabulously. 💯👌😃
The pea has character, integrity, intelligence and a great heart. I really appreciate the essential information she works so hard to disseminate, and she knocks my socks off with her amazing presentation skills. She's a truly unique and special woman.❤
Scamming is an issue Filipinos need to deal with internally. There are several countries that were once tourist destinations but slowly got the reputation for scams, theft, etc.. and the tourists stopped coming. Right now Ecuador is losing tourists due to crime. Once a country gets such a reputation it's almost impossible to get tourists back. Loss of tourism costs a country much more than the scam brings in. And PH already has a pretty bad reputation. This is true for trash too. There are better options for tourists.
Phone scams like those in India and Nigeria are already popping up in the Philippines, this needs to be nipped as soon as possible as this will destroy the already shakey economy.
Pes: Excellent topic for a video! It's kinds funny that this attorney you interviewed is more interested in keeping people safe than to do what is being done in my area of the world. Attorneys here won't advise you in ways to stay out of trouble, they will actually wait until you get yourself into hot water and charge you an arm, a leg, your first born, 7 teeth, and your spare kidney just to take your case on, then charge you by the hour while working on the case, and if that isn't enough they will also charge you for documents related to your case that they e-mail you and you have to print out and bring to court. Lawyers here are all about how much money they can make off of every client, and they don't care if you are innocent or guilty, as long as they are scraping every last dime you've ever made in your life away from you, they're going to take their time working through the case and charge you as much as they can in the process. Great video though Pea! Love your content. Hoping someday I can make th trip to the Philippines myself.
@@TheFilipinaPea Yes, a good honest young person, wants to build a reputation......but eventually the 'system" changes you. I hope this young man, stays true to his beliefs and does not let 'the 'system' change him, much respect to him.
Her mom is almost cured, just 12 more payments to go. Glad the car is all fixed now but the alternator just went bad again.... She's the best woman ever! Can't wait to meet her one day.
Thanks Pea. Rule of thumb never dole out money to someone you don’t know unless you can afford to give it away. Emotional decisions seldom turn out well.
I really can't imagine why anyone would send money for land to someone they've never met in person. Sadly we live in an age where you really need to look out for yourself and not be so quick to trust other people. I personally prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they are decent people however you just need to take care not to risk too much. If you're going to send money to someone overseas then I'd suggest only sending an amount you are prepared to lose. It's the same with going to a casino really - you only take the amount of money in with you you're prepared to lose.
That's not really how most people get got. After you visit you might send some money and they might decide to run off with someone else. Or you might petition a young lady and she leaves the second she gets citizenship.
this is excellent advice but honestly I wouldn't sue anyone. don't make waves. just move on and call it a life lesson. if you file a case on a Filipino you will be the bad guy and you might as well go back home. that's just how it is.
yes, that's what happened to me as foreigner I won a 2 million pesos civil case but end up paying more and more for lawyers, sheriff, court fee ,court branch staffs .....ect. and the result was Zero! coz of the corrupt sheriff and the chaos judicial system, so I just left everything behind and decide not to go there again!!
This was interesting. I have sent money to different people in the Philippines but I also made it clear I do not want the money back. There for I was not scammed per say. I sent Money to a guy to fix his Motor bike .I sent money to a mother to buy her kids school clothes . I have also sent money many times for people to buy food. The Motor Bike I knew the guy he was married and had 3 kids his Bike was all he had to work with out it he would not be able to take care of his family. Yes I also seen the guy on cam with his wife and kids . The school clothes well Every child should have an education. Food Money the people I gave money for so they could buy food not only did they buy food they showed everything on cam and how much it cost . I don't mind helping as long as I know I am told the truth from the start . Every one I helped always wanted to pay me back and I made it clear I don't wish to be paid back. The Dating and with a married women well I can only hope that does not happen to me . I have heard stories about it . I use to think I could tell who is 18 and over but lets be honest Pea looks like she is 16 .The Temptations is always going to be there only because Pea is so beautiful that it would just be to hard to say no go home.
Hi Capt. Pea. Your efforts of trying to assist people who were victimized should be well appreciated. It’s so sad that some people are delusional thinking that all Pinays are the same.
My filipina gf is the exact opposite. Been online chatting with her for over 5 years, met twice( meeting again in 3 months) and she's never asked for one penny. I tried giving her money as she didn't have a job at the time but still she refuses. This is one of many reasons we are still together and hopefully she'll say 'yes' when we meet again.❤
Well congratulations. Just know that the best scammers never ask for any money because that's a red flag. They just put you into a position where you just want to give it to them willingly. Usually they'll start telling you about small problems in their life while not asking you for any help. And then eventually us men try to rescue them and help them financially when they never ask for it in the first place. And that's how a lot of scams start when we start playing save a hoe. But I'm sure your situation is different so congratulations.
Always remember, trust has to be earned, it's not a free gift. Same with generosity, it's not a free gift to every woman, it has to be earned. I tell every foreign woman this, but some of them don't get it for some reason. Many women in Russia and Philippines don't seem to get the logic of this.
Thanks for having to have an attorney on your vlog to explain why you never send money before meeting in person.i know some female vloggers who have built homes by gettin(g money with the fake relationship scam. Sadly enough the Philippines Constitution and federal acts codified are so archaic and protect scammers. I have had so many supposed women over 25 to turn out to be 15-17 years old where the parents or siblings have them on dating sites to get money. I am sure if someone took the bait the next thing would be the blackmail or trying to entice the foreigner to send money and buy items. I have always screenshot ages and even birth certificates. That is not even foolproof as these young Filipinas use older sister's documents. Then there are the marriage hiders. I always as to see a certificate of non marriage before wasting any time. But you can't verify a forgery from a photo but it shows intent. Until you are in the Philippines just follow two rules. Never send money and never request nude photos. If she sends nude photos ask her why she has done this as you did not request them and it is unnecessary. Don't do this on a video chat. Do it so the response comes in writing.
Let the buyer beware Miss Pea. It seems we are in the age of scams. Very good advice from this attorney. There are so many beautiful and loving women in the Philippines so don’t pick one with baggage. Use your head on your shoulders not the other head. Meet your Filipina in person and get to know her to lower your chances of getting scammed. Great video Miss Pea.
Hey Miss Pea, A foreigner could always buy the land in his Gf name but the property in his name and he could sign a lease where he could rent the land for 15 years I think going off memory Is this correct?
@@CryptoGodUK Yes you can and it's 25 years unless recently changed. However you need the lease agreement to be drawn up by a competent lawyer to cover all possible angles like what you're allowed to build on the land, the right to sell the property without the landowner/gf having to give permission for the transfer of the lease, making sure you're covered with inheritance issues should the landowner/gf pass away and I'm sure there's many other things to be included. You also need to make sure you're not named on any documents during the purchase of land process, it has to be her money paying for the land, otherwise the purchase could be deemed illegal. Also if you get married the lease becomes null & void. Don't take this as gospel though, it's just my understanding. All that said, I wouldn't be doing any of this based on an online relationship lol.
I am about 50% on taking your advice.. I never sent money until we had talked for about a year.. but I feel like I hit the lottery ..one thing I noticed about Filipinas.. they very seldom ask you for money outright.. they tell you what they are going through.. and you ask them if you can help.. they say “it’s up to you”.. ask them how much they need.. they say..”up to you”.. I hated that
My Filipina never asked for anything, but after being in an LDR for several months, I found out that to continue she needed things to stay in contact together, because of her location. I verified things before giving her any money, and only just the amount she needed to get things she needed, and it was a surprise, because she did not ask for them.
I agree with what you have said . But for me she says it's not enough the pressure that she puts on me Is bad . Her drama is through the roof for me I told her we where finished this week as I've have enough of the emotional blackmail . Buying land that game up last few month as Buying a house
Yes this is how mine did it. They create a situation to solicit a response from you, it’s usually never a direct request. Mine kept saying that she never asked for anything.
Great that you seek attorney advice for audience. You always get the best experts. As far as age of consent in Philippines, I know a few people who went over for a visit. They were going for flings any way they could get it. This incident happened decades ago. In the evening the guy encountered an older man who engaged him in conversation about 'dream fulfillment.' He had a 12 year old daughter and the family needed money or they wouldn't be able to eat. Though my friend was seedy, he wasn't looking for a non-adult female biped for a roll in the hay. He asked the elder how much they needed for food and he would just give it to him. The man refused charity and he would only take money in trade for 'time' with his daughter. My friend said no thanks and went on his way. I am a person who is good at analyzing situations. Complimented my friend for walking away. I did him some questions he could ponder because neither of us would know what the answer(s) were,. 1. Could this have been a police sting? Could it be a possibility? No jail is palatable. 2. Was the girl really 12 or did she just look 12? Sex perverts do go to foreign countries to engage thus and Asians can look younger than their age. 3. If the girl was 12 what happens back home when that person encounters a cute minor? 4. Was the elder the father? Could the elder be in a sex trafficking ring that has kidnapped girl(s) for the purpose of tourist 'wish fulfillment'? Should a person actually pull the trigger on underage person(s) in a foreign country then could they get a taste for the same back in their own country? No matter what, people should always obey the 18 year old age of sexual consent rule, though the older a man gets the older the minimum age should be. I do believe there needs to be one world standard of 18 or 19 as the age of sexual consent. In the US some states are 16 a few a 17 and the rest are 18. Treat it as 18 in every state and world wide. Foreigners who go to a country need to be aware of scammers. They also need to respect the people of that country and behave in a manner that represents your country in a positive light. Be up front and honest. Honesty is the best policy. People in countries we visit are not children and they are not just toys for our pleasure. They are human beings. Pea, you have to say it this way. "Vee need to zee your ID, fräulein. Paperz pleaze." ;) Checking ID is very important when one has doubts. Better to have a date fail rather than end up in jail. Again, great video.
It sounds to me like it was a setup. They might’ve extorted him if he’d said yes, but then I wonder why he didn’t accept the money either way? Strange …
In many European countries, age of consent is less than 18. I've heard 16 is common. However, the Federal government of these States insists that it can and will prosecute an American male anywhere in the world outside of these States for carnival knowledge of a female under age 18. In these States, females are frequently the older predator for a boy under age 15.
@@TheFilipinaPea Probably right that it was a set up. People need to know the laws of a country and consequences of breaking those laws before they go to that country. Pea, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
Another great concise informative video Pea. The young lawyer guest is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humour, is humble, and appreciated the opportunity to appear as your guest. He has a great future.
Recently back online looking for another Filipina and having my own proven system that works quite well, after filtering down chat adds to 135 filipinas, they STILL try the desperadette game. About 35% of them. Also, this can happen even up to seven days later I noticed. Usually the 'emergency' tactic. As soon as you feel comfortable of course. Really, the only way to avoid it is seek an high value lady (this time I found one...), have a really genuine filipina that is open to showing proof (hard to do at times because they may pull tampo and feel hurt you don't believe them, and have a really solid agreement for the relationship from the start. I always sent some money to my former Filipina and she never asked me. However, I also didn't see that money was actually a real problem as her pride got in the way. Happens too. Anyway, my advice is NEVER send a bunch of money, just enough to help with needs. Just cut out a usual entertainment expense or something so you don't feel any real loss of money. Once you send money, it's done. Forget everything in any attempt to recover it and to be honest , it's pretty low to demand it back.
Hmmm typhoons. Even rich and self financial true Filipinas may have trouble recovering from that... They protect their family first. Another reason Filipinas are the best women in the world.
Document everything.... To be honest, unless some sort of business transaction, you'd be a fool to be out 20k with a genuine Filipina. Decent vid Pea. Learnt a lot.
Great video, I appreciate your efforts to keep us out of legal trouble in the Philippines. 😇That frees up our time to think of other ways to get into trouble. 😈😀
Much simpler if people would just listen to you lovely Pea! You have a wonderful voice and are very pleasing on the eye so no excuse not to! Your legal system sounds similar to the US system but the Small Claims Court is a UK thing too. Much easier to make claims that way. Take care lovely Pea! 🥰❤️
Yeeeysss, thanks for this Miss Pea 😊. It is a big help for our foreign friends who fall in a Romantic Scam. This kind of scam is also a headache with in remittance center because you can't just deny a transaction because of course you can't ask a customer " are you scamming your foreign bf?"😅. Well the sender has a consent sending allowance to her gf not knowing if she is scamming him already.
@@TheFilipinaPea I actually have a question to that Miss Pea ☺️ why they are sending and sending money even though they don't have an assurance with the relationship. Maybe some of our friends here can give their opinion why. Because I think it's their free will to send a money, so the scammer took advantage of that. Hope they stop that kind of practice because there are alot of good Filipinas out there who doesn't really look out for their money. Some just run for their "genes"😂✌️. Just kidding about the "genes"😅.
wow that was an eye opener, i feel sorry for the married Filipino women he could have left her with children to bring up and not get the chance of happiness with someone else because there is no divorce there, that don't sound fair to me, he could be enjoying himself with other women but no one can touch her because they could end up in court, someone needs to change the law there its against the women😡
Great advice that would apply to many of the foreigners. I was surprised that ignorance of age or marriage could be used as a defence, in the USA we have a saying that ignorance if the law is no excuse, so not sure we could use those defences here.
it's not ignorance of the law, it's ignorance of status. And yes, it is a defense in the States as well, it is a good faith defense and works for a limited number of offences.
Another interesting video. There is an old saying. “You can’t cheat an honest man.” Every con game, street hustle and deception involves “deceit” as your counselor noted. Deceit must be matched by avarice on the part of the mark. It’s like fishing. If your not looking for a “free lunch” you won’t take the “bait” and thus you avoid the hook. Pea kept saying “out of the goodness of your heart”. That’s the key. IF you really deal with another person “out of the goodness of your heat”, there is no expectation for personal gain, and you cannot be scammed. If you give some young lady money for anything with the expectation she will buy a certain thing. That’s a transaction of sorts. Not a simple gift. If you are seeking a transaction then perform your due diligence. Know what your buying and know the laws. If you are giving something to a “kindred soul” freely and without condition or expectation you cannot be scammed. Philosophically, it’s either a gift, or a payment for expected services. Ponder that fellas. Fox out.
@@TheFilipinaPea Correct. That is in essence the “contract” implied by Patreon. In other cases, “giving is its own reward”,Marcell Mauss, 1923. Fox out
💜 Thanks for always keeping your subscribers’ best interests at heart, Pea. Very interesting and well-explained by your excellent guest. I can’t help thinking an update of marriage law to allow for divorce or easier annulment must be well overdue in the Philippines, even given the prevalent Catholic values in society there. I wonder how likely that is…?
@@TheFilipinaPea Yes.....Divorce Laws are needed....INCLUDING a strong Law on CHILD SUPPORT...!!!!(that alone will keep millions of "PECKERS".....inside the pants and outside "the Nest".)
first time I watched this channel I thought it was kinda jokey and very very niche, but FP was perky and entertaining so i watched a few more. While I still find it extremely niche i defiantly respect FP she is honest while still representing both sides with genuine affection
Great video, Pea! Although it does not pertain to my Wife and I, this is good information 👍😊 Special thanks to your guest for the succinct explanation of Filipino laws and procedures👍 Take care, Pea and have a good weekend!🍻🤙😄
2500 views in 1 hour ❣️ Amiel is very knowledgeable and I liked his "just do this" advice. You would think the older foreigners would know this stuff but like you've said before..... thinking with the wrong.....🤦♂️
Learning about Philippine legal challenges is priceless! This is the most important issue when in a relationship, business deal, or incident a westerner gets involved in when engaging with a Filipina or Filipino in the Philippines! Knowing the laws and what to do if you've been deceived is very powerful before you dive into a relationship, and for men who when they get aroused, a large portion of blood gets pulled from the brain (removing Cognitive function and reason) and the blood gets diverted to their Crotch, it could help prevent a catastrophe! Thank you for this excellent video Ms. Pea ❤️❤️🥰
Document EVERYTHING as if you are so in love that you want to remember the smallest detail of y'all's relationship. Every "Hello" and every "Mahal kita." Even the stuff in private mode. Screenshot and save it to your cloud or print it. Trust but verify. If she has any problem with it then check it out and make plans to move on. It'll save you a lot of heartache if you hold your heart back from her until you get to know her. Trust me, that's a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. Thank you Pea. Because someone did that, I found your channel. Sunshine after the storm.
Exactly, who’s documenting every conversation when in a relationship. Money I can understand as there is always a record of transactions, but conversations, I don’t think so. It’s usually after you have been burned that you think of all of this.
You’re killing it with these Uploads schedule the TH-cam algorithm must love you. HOWEVER, aren’t you getting burnt out ? Will you ever do a video discussing your TH-cam journey and the mental health of being a successful TH-camr and finding time for yourself in the dating ? 😕 I worry about you Pea. Love ❤️ 🙏🏾👌🏾
16:40 In law, there is a distinction between what is called Mens Rea and Actus Reus, which basically mean guilty mind and guilty act. The reason it matters that a person thought that the other was of legal age, is that shows that there was both "no intention of commiting a crime" and also "intention to avoid commiting a crime by checking". The criminal intent was on the part of the underage person who deceived the other, as well as the criminal act. Where some people take a huge risk is when they don't even ask the other person's age, or check for an i.d. if it's questionable.
VERY good video and thanks to the lawyer for the explanation. I always live by 'Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance' so I investigate. So I already know a foreigner can't buy land, a house or business and they can never get the Philippines nationality to do so. I also know once married they can't get a divorce. I'm also attracted to mature women and not the young girls. But for many guys that don't do their research, fall 'in love' and get scammed this is very good information for sure. And for the guys that do go there to just have some romantic relationships do take the advice and take a picture of the ID they present. I fact all of this information is this video is very good information to protect yourself. Take it seriously. The good side of it is that if we can rule out all scammers we are left with only serious, honest Pinay women. That's a good thing.
My Wife and I are Canadian, arrived in mid Sept. Love your BLOGS as they tend to show more of social norms to expect, making it easier to transition to Philippine life. I just thought I would give you and your viewers a heads up so people don't get the wrong impression of the Mask Changes. We just got back from the Walter Mart in Makati and they are requiring a mask to enter their Mall. Apparently people have been waiting for these mask changes before they head to the Philippines and may not be happy when they arrive and blame you. Just a thought. Thanks for all your great video's, you are informative and hilarious.
Great advice from the attorney. I just don't understand why anyone would send money to someone they didn't know. What's worse is anyone that accepts or expects money under such circumstances. Totally unbelieveable.
From my experience, it's like they expect money to be sent . In the past , I have had young , beautiful filipina's send me a friend request on Facebook, I accepted. They message me immediately, then ask me 40 questions about me , and expect answers , I ask a few questions, get very few answers . Then the telling me her many problems and crisis starts and she needs money because they have no food and or sick ...it goes on and on ...all within 15 to 30 minutes of just accepting as a friend ....simple, I delete and block....
Another awesome video with great info and insight. Loved the end especially. Very creative and funny. My opinion and i will probably be attacked for this. I feel foreigners like me shouldn't have recourse to being scammed. Its part of life. If the foreigners are using their big brain instead of the little one they won't ever run into trouble. If they do get taken use it as a learning experience. Take the Pea's advice boots on the ground first, take things slowly, have a huge heart, be forgiving. If you have been scammed life always balances itself out somewhere down the line. Question? Pea do you have a limited number of subscribers who'd like to become Kings on patron page or is it an unlimited number allowed?
What a MORONIC attitude ,,,, does the same apply to girls walking in short skirts at NIGHT ,, they are NOT using their brains ,, does that make it ok for the HIDEOUS crime that could happen?
getting a lawyer to try and avoid jail time or to get a refund from the 70million pesos you sent to build a house is one thing , but if a foreignor was scammed online for money and he knows that he will never go to philipines to prosecute or because he knows the girl has no money left he then goes to tulfo so that the girl will be shamed in her city or province and exposed as a scammer for all to see , the embarassement alone will be enuff
I see a real effort on your part to not only promote your country and your fellow filipinas, but also a healthy dose of common sense to help foreigners make good decisions when choosing who to be with. This benefits everyone. I think if everyone starts taking good advice in this new cross cultural melting pot in the Philippines, you can soon, easily diminish the negative reputation that filipinas have had in the past. These tips you have been giving in most of your videos will help put these types of scammers out of business in this arena, *IF* people are wise enough to implement them. As foreigners, we can't expect to move to another country and demand their laws to change to suit us, we have to adapt to the places we choose to move into. We have to check our entitlement as soon as we set foot in another country and that means adapting and using common sense to make well informed and good decisions. You have a lot of disgruntled men in the west looking for greener pastures. There may soon be an enormous influx of western men in your country. This could be a good thing, but if these men are ill informed, it could also be disastrous. I hope these guys have their shit together and are coming with the right intent and using common sense. It's easy to lose your head and get sidetracked in a candy store with a pocket full of pesos. Great videos Pea, keep up the good work.
They don't have divorce? So if a woman is in an abusive relationship and has to flee, she can never have an intimate relationship ever again? That is so sad :(.
@@TheFilipinaPea oh that's great to hear! Expecially because it will also make it more difficult to scam people too if you can ask to see divorce papers!
It's all in perspective, we all want to help someone in need and the pandemic made everyone cry out for help. If you can afford it and you have a good heart help, if they have scammed you, rest assure that they will pay one day.
Thank you Pea for another wonderful educational video. Hope you are having a wonderful night and your Monday will be an awesome day for you. Stay safe. God bless you Pea. Much love and respect to you.
I really like this video. There is a genetic trait that Asians have that makes them look younger than they are. She may look like a teenager but she's actually 30 or 40 years old. Also I have been on many dating sites, including Date In Asia, and the minute I hear them talk about money, I already know why they are on the site, and I use my block or delete button instantly. If a guy is dumb enough to give some girl money up front and think they are in a relationship, I call that "online prostitution" but the guy is the only one getting screwed 😄.
LOL....Probably some guys like getting 'screwed' and they have no one to blame but themselves. If you want to help someone out of the 'goodness' of you heart, when you know they don't have any money, then don't expect any 'sexual' favors in return, unless you have agreed on that, beforehand.
I hold the view that a foreigner who makes an under-the-table deal on land ownership, is declaring his contempt for the Constitution of Philippines and so should forfeit his investment. Moreover, I think he should be expelled as a dishonourable visitor who will never be an asset to the nation. Great advice, Pea; and my thanks to your excellent attorney.
if a young girl sais she is over 18 and shows you a i,d, card all the male has to do is take a photo or a video of the girl holding her identification cards in her hands and take propper photos of said card this way you can prove your inocense if need be and if the girl sais no to photos you say no to the sex part and go find a real woman there are millions of them in the philipines dont take the bait
Pea, Grandmother dying three times, ha. I had 150+ employees over my years in business and I actually heard this. Getting to the subject, the caveat should be if you send money to anyone it's a gift given the circumstances. Sounds like the foreigner is seeking revenge and not taking responsibility for being gullible. Myself, I would not go online instead I would go to the Philippines and spend the time their to meet my future wife and hire a lawyer to prove what we both say is who we are. I would think the Filipina woman would want the same. This is a must see video for anyone thinking of finding love in the Philippines, thanks for this one.

Thanks for the video dear. Please show us how to avoid the vagina scam that many women from the west do.
The whole of Philippines and its system is a scam
Your videos are really enjoyable and informative. This video opened my eyes to things I didn’t even know I needed to look out for. Thank you!
The best advice this guy gave was ... "It's hard to trust anyone these days". That applies on a global scale.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
That really hits home when spoken by a lawyer. That is why he should be in your phone contact list.
Especially on a global scale
that's a pretty sad viewpoint - I will trust my instincts and find most people are trustworthy. once in a while I'm proven wrong but 99 per cent of the time I have no problem in spotting a red flag.

Just remember that every woman is after your money, and act accordingly.

Yup... They're after "security" and "stability" which more often than not equals money in a round about way.
That’s jaded thinking. There are good women out there, just learn how to see them.
@@yanassi There are, but they want money too.
All joking aside, it does sound like you almost have to say, "Papers, please!" when dating in the Philippines. The main things I got from this video were:
1) Trust...but verify!
Always use your head, you can't just go around trusting everyone. Scammers are everywhere in the world
Which one 😅

“So land, you’re screwed!”……outstanding line!
Ka-BOOM 😳
Deliciously vicious 😂
Brilliant, she deserved it
Half the time though the guys agree to it and get money too 😂 sht I even tell mine to get the money online if it's over 5k p 😂

"It's really difficult to trust people nowadays, in general."
- Sage advice from this attorney
Scamming is an issue Filipinos need to deal with internally. There are several countries that were once tourist destinations but slowly got the reputation for scams, theft, etc.. and the tourists stopped coming. Right now Ecuador is losing tourists due to crime. Once a country gets such a reputation it's almost impossible to get tourists back. Loss of tourism costs a country much more than the scam brings in. And PH already has a pretty bad reputation. This is true for trash too. There are better options for tourists.
Yes, we having issues with scammers, trash, and trashy scammers 😂
Plenty of awful women right here where I live.
Same grief and heartbreak without the pesky jet lag and currency exchange!
street crime and scamming are two completely different animals.
Colombia is next on losing tourist cause of the scam a
and drugging.
Phone scams like those in India and Nigeria are already popping up in the Philippines, this needs to be nipped as soon as possible as this will destroy the already shakey economy.

Excellent topic for a video!
I think if needed an attorney, I’d rather have a young one that was eager to do a good job 👍

Good philosophy, Andrew! And you will definitely lose that amount 😂
People buy virtual land so nothing surprises me
I’m glad my amount was minor compared to that .
Yep it's a gamble , and odds are , you will lose...
Not necessarily, if it is a blatant crime the possibility that it may be decided on facts and not nationality.
File a case and later you can always move to another island there are hundreds of them with people on it. Thousands are mostly uninhabited.
Right. You wouldn't want to be arrested, right?
Agreed, I see expats in my attorneys office everyday wasting time and money for next to zero chance at the intended result.
If you are sending $300 a month and getting ripped… You are getting off easy. $10k, life lesson.
Getting Justice in the Philippines is next to impossible. The court system is so disorganized, corrupted and backed up.
yes, that's what happened to me as foreigner I won a 2 million pesos civil case but end up paying more and more for lawyers, sheriff, court fee ,court branch staffs .....ect. and the result was Zero! coz of the corrupt sheriff and the chaos judicial system, so I just left everything behind and decide not to go there again!!
I want to thank you Pea for going to all the trouble and telling us these things.
Hi Capt.

Cap
@@thomasking786 🤣🤣🤣
Really 😂
That's the exception though, and I believe you because I found one finally who also isn't asking for money.
Yes, as long as you have a photo of the CENOMAR, whether real or fake, you’re safe 👍

Yes, spend a lot of time together 👍
Believe me, you’ll enjoy it 😂
Hey Miss Pea,
A foreigner could always buy the land in his Gf name but the property in his name and he could sign a lease where he could rent the land for 15 years I think going off memory
Is this correct?
@@CryptoGodUK I also had this idea, from Pea and the lawyer's vlog. But I think that the concession contract can be made for 25 years.
Great tips in here pea; thanks!
Thanks for tuning in, Andrew 👍😊
I am about 50% on taking your advice.. I never sent money until we had talked for about a year.. but I feel like I hit the lottery ..one thing I noticed about Filipinas.. they very seldom ask you for money outright.. they tell you what they are going through.. and you ask them if you can help.. they say “it’s up to you”.. ask them how much they need.. they say..”up to you”.. I hated that
Hahahahaha
You’ll get the same answer if you ask where we want to eat (and just about everything else) 😂
"up to you" hmmm I could come up with some pretty imaginative ideas.

@@Galahad54 That is true now. I don't know if that was true back when this incident happened.
@@TheFilipinaPea Probably right that it was a set up. People need to know the laws of a country and consequences of breaking those laws before they go to that country. Pea, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

The best tool against scammers is Pea's videos
Sadly the lonely and desperate put their guard down and go into denial hoping they are wrong despite clues around them say otherwise.
And despite me yelling at them not to do it! 😂😂😂

These advice are applicable to other countries as well. It's very helpful.
And so many times, she is 😳
@@TheFilipinaPea I actually have a question to that Miss Pea ☺️ why they are sending and sending money even though they don't have an assurance with the relationship.

Great advice that would apply to many of the foreigners. I was surprised that ignorance of age or marriage could be used as a defence, in the USA we have a saying that ignorance if the law is no excuse, so not sure we could use those defences here.
Yes, our legal system differs in that way 👍
it's not ignorance of the law, it's ignorance of status. And yes, it is a defense in the States as well, it is a good faith defense and works for a limited number of offences.
Great video great advice my Gwapa Pea salamat for another Lovely video with the Attorney have an awesome Adlaw until next time Sa Dios Love Lots
Another interesting video.
There is an old saying. “You can’t cheat an honest man.”
Every con game, street hustle and deception involves “deceit” as your counselor noted.
Fox out.
If someone gives me a gift, it can be for expected services (in the form of good videos) 😂

Because someone did that, I found your channel. Sunshine after the storm.
Well I’m just grateful you found me 😂❤️
Exactly, who’s documenting every conversation when in a relationship. Money I can understand as there is always a record of transactions, but conversations, I don’t think so.
It’s usually after you have been burned that you think of all of this.
As always Pea,,, very informative,,, I hope it resignates with people. ( if in doubt sort it out )
You’re killing it with these Uploads schedule the TH-cam algorithm must love you.
I’ll do that video once I’m fully burned out 😂
Excellent content Pea, another great video. Ingat ka lagi.
And a surprising number of foreigners don’t ask or check 😳
@@TheFilipinaPea Yeah... and that's crazy. If there's even the slightest question, you should check. You should ALWAYS ask.
@@TheFilipinaPea you know how old a tree is by checking its 'inner' rings. it would have been nice man and women had something similar. :)
I find myself every time at the end of one of your videos, I'm waving back when you are waving.
Great! Next time I wave, I’ll assume I’m waving just to you 😂👍
hmmm, I'm under the impression that the legal system over there is very bias towards the locals and against foreigners
Great advice from the attorney. I just don't understand why anyone would send money to someone they didn't know. What's worse is anyone that accepts or expects money under such circumstances. Totally unbelieveable.
Agreed! And yet it happens thousands of times per day 😳
@@TheFilipinaPea 😱😱😱
I’m sure it’s unlimited, but I’ve never even come close to finding out 😂
What a MORONIC attitude ,,,, does the same apply to girls walking in short skirts at NIGHT ,, they are NOT using their brains ,, does that make it ok for the HIDEOUS crime that could happen?
After having gone through some of this, wish I had this knowledge beforehand
Cheers
getting a lawyer to try and avoid jail time or to get a refund from the 70million pesos you sent to build a house is one thing , but if a foreignor was scammed online for money and he knows that he will never go to philipines to prosecute or because he knows the girl has no money left he then goes to tulfo so that the girl will be shamed in her city or province and exposed as a scammer for all to see , the embarassement alone will be enuff
Shane! Shame! 😂😂😂👍
Good stuff! Besides doing what the lawyer said, just listen to Pea! 😉👍
You’ll never go wrong!
Well, not often
But sometimes you will, so don’t even listen to me 😂😂😂
I see a real effort on your part to not only promote your country and your fellow filipinas, but also a healthy dose of common sense to help foreigners make good decisions when choosing who to be with.
I think you’re right, David - there’s about to be an influx 👍😊
(at least I hope so)
@@TheFilipinaPea I think the filipinas need to be just as discerning. Not everyone is gonna actually be long term/marriage minded.
Welcome attorney Amiel and thank you for the useful information.
They don't have divorce? So if a woman is in an abusive relationship and has to flee, she can never have an intimate relationship ever again? That is so sad :(.
Sad but true l! However, divorce legislation is right around the corner, finally 👍
@@TheFilipinaPea oh that's great to hear! Expecially because it will also make it more difficult to scam people too if you can ask to see divorce papers!
There is Cenomar which you can avail to see if a person is married. So simple with very little fee.
Very important and informational video Ms. Pea, THANK YOU for another great video! HUGS
Thanks so much, Todd! And thanks again for your continued support 👍❤️
Hahahahaha
Most stupid people don't know they are stupid.🤠😂
That could be a problem, yes 😂
exactly, and thus that is why there is so many scammers
