Update: I figured out how to change the aperture in the LUMIX Sync app! The fuction is indeed there, I just didn't look hard enough. Learn from my mistake! You just need to push the SS/F button.

Am a subscriber because Every time I search TH-cam for Lumix S1 videos, all positive videos are either for GH5 or S1H, most negative reviews goes to S1, since it was the first full frame DSLR Camera Panasonic made, people were expecting high end specs and amazing Codecs, their expectations where dashed, so most hatred was on poor S1, but i decided to buy one nonetheless, the camera is amazing!! I love it every time I use it, I haven't even bought the V-Log yet, I know it doesn't have the recording codes GH5 has, if am to guess base on Panasonic track records, they will release an update that will turn S1 camera into a beast of a camera, than it presently is in the near feature, look at what they did with G9.
    I love my S1, I love my GH5.

Thanks for subscribing and commenting! The S1 is a great camera and I'll be posting more videos soon about it. Just got an email confirming a purchase I made for an S1 accessory is on its way so, look out for that soon 😉

I have the front buttons setup for AF near / AF far. Very efficient for getting a quick focus if your location is busy with many layers. A lot less hunting since you can choose the right direction for your AF.

Hi How do you set that up ? :)

I use one function button to turn the waveform on and off and the other to punch in to telephoto mode while taking pictures. Thanks for the tip on the front function lever, I've had that happen.

2:26 does this mean that at 4K50p you won't have V-log internally? or is it available but only in 8 bit.

You can use v-log in 4k50p in 8-bit internally. However I don't recommend shooting log profiles in 8-bit. I know some people do it, but from my experience I haven't always got satisfactory results.

IBIS is not short for "In Built Image Stabilization"... it's "In BODY Image Stabilization".
Maybe just a slip, but worth getting right.

Compared to Sony cameras, it's pretty bad.
