Great video!
Thank you!
Beautiful water! That first brookie was gorgeous--and put up a good fight. I really enjoy seeing this kind of creek/river fishing. Thanks for another great video!
Thank you Mel, I appreciate the support!
You should get up here to the Lackawanna trophy area iv got them over 30 inches wild trout not stocks
It has definitely been a minute since I fished that river for trout. I've caught a few 24 inches. I Never caught one that big in there. Thanks for watching!
i thought it was all stocked by olyphant
The only area that is stocked by PFBC is just north of Simpson. Occasionally the Lackawanna is stocked in Dickson City and Scranton for youth fishing Derbys
Could U take a min to go over how U rig the pinched crawler? I assume threaded on a small hook under a split shot? On a jig head? Thx
I use a 1/64 ounce mule fishing jighead. I order them from mulefishing.com. you want to use a jighead with a bait holder. Gulp products are very soft. You could also use a trout magnet jighead. Those you could pickup at walmart. Thanks for watching.
First time viewing your videos. It would be informative if you show how the worm is rigged, split shot, jig head, etc.
I was using a 1/64 ounce mule fishing jighead. I like them because they hold the lure on much better. You could also use the trout magnet jighead. Thanks for watching!
It’s funny cuz this weekend we started out Brooke fishing but we ended up finding a river loaded with native browns!! I got one about 28 inches on a sulfur dry fly !! Biggest native I’ve ever got and I believe biggest brown on got on a dry fly !! I’ve definitely got bigger on nymphs up north in fact I had a 23.7 lb brown mounted but that was a hatchery fish October of 2009 !!
Thats awesome. Thanks for watching!
Yeah and I’ll take things that never happend for 500 doc
I pinched a turtlehead and ended up with a brown trout.
