My favorite rice rocket. There's a reason this is the best motor cycle channel on the planet. Much respect.

I was fortunate to had raced a GSXR750 all thru the 86 Suzuki Cup races. Battled with such great riders such as Kurt Hall, Scott Russell, Paul Bray, Mike Harth. Racing was intense. Suzuki paid all qualified riders. $2500 to $5000 depending on if the race was a regional event or a national event. You could even get up to $250 if you finished 5th…. Wow Suzuki had such a large $$ contingency program back then. Doug Pole. Was the richest privateer rider back then who made more money than anyone. Great times and good racing then….

Nice and wicked looking bike. Those did rule the racetracks back in the day. The GSXR750 was far ahead of the competition back then. A friend of mine had one in 1986 and said you could use the high tank as a forearm rest to help hang on in corners. This one here looks really sharp!

I had one of these too" mine was done to the nuts like the guy who built it was a mad man! All the work was done by team Suzuki...I look at the frame of the bike right out of the gate...cuz when I rapped the throttle the frame would bend...I got into a few scary wheel wobbles pulling hard at 250kmh on my way to 280kmh...a couple of my buddies went 300+ kmh on it..I rode the bike from the factory..it had a 11,100 rpms limit" when I bought the bike a few yrs later...it would rev to 16,000rpms it was exhilarating but it would twist the fram and things could get interesting real quick! How I ever made it to 2024 is beyond me! The memories and the stories I could tell....but I ain't sure of the stature of limitations lol!

Very beautiful! Also some people will turn these into cafe racers or streetfighter style bikes, so it would also look cool as that

Streetfighter if you wrecked all the fairings first, but original is just the way it's supposed to be, that's why it's so very beautiful!

Those are the most aggressive foot controls I’ve seen. Crazy.

That’s why I bought a 1988 GSXR-750J because I wanted to stay within the abilities of my skill level, fastest I had mine up to was 125 and I got there QUICK!
