Yeah, it did actually. In one interview they asked him if it was better to score goal or to have sex and he responded to score a goal off course, because you can fuck whenever you want but you can't score a goal whenever you want 😂
Mate from Rapid Vienna to Rangers he always played like it mattered. His first Goal for Rangers was a thing of beauty. If our club didnt get into the mess it was in we would have never have let him go at that time for peanuts. Or Naismith for the price you got them That's why we overcharged you lot for Patterson 😂
@@gsaikrishna95 Naah, the team were going stale before Moyes left. the gap between the top six and Everton just got wider while the gap between Everton and the rest got smaller.
My favourite Jelavic moment, goal, was when he scored against Liverpool in the FA Cup semi!!! I was just back from working in Thailand, was watching on the big screen at our local Workingmen's Club, plenty of Reds in there.. and I really thought we were going to go on and do it!!! Wasn't to be, so very sadly as we all now know, but at least I was one of a couple of Blues present doing the cheering and dancing!!.. for a short time, at least!!! :)
He was an excellent centre forward who I thought didn't get the proper rub of the green in his time in England, but he certainly made his mark at first 👍👊⚽️❤
@@Killer1984able It was mad how we seemed to have a hex over you for such a long time, don't get me wrong there were a lot of games were you would have all of the possession and throw the kitchen sink at us but somehow we would snatch a goal or two from seemingly nothing and take the 3 points haha. I think there was a stat at one point where 75% of the points Mancini had lost in the Prem were against us.
vaguely remembered an incredible stat: he took a total of something like 10 touches of the ball in his first so-and-so games and like 7 of them was a shot that turns to a goal
Ive never really followed soccer but funny thing is im related to Nikica Jelavić. Surnames usually change when families live in a english country hence Yelavich. From the same region too Neretva.
Rangers had a legitimate baller in Nikica Jelavic. His goal against Celtic in the league cup final the season before he signed for Everton was a last minute goal that hit both posts before going in
Wasn't with us doing it for long enough unfortunately. What made his form drop off so emphatically? Such a shame. Some of his movement/finishing in this clip is absolute top class.
By his own admission, he got lazy after his incredible first season, didn't train as much etc and that's when his form dipped. He could never get back to his exposive start with us.
apart from his finishing, he was actually not very good in anything else. opposing teams wised up and started marking him out of games, and that was all it took to shut him down
Honestly he wasn't that good(overall for 90minutes). But I remember there was a time when he couldn't miss, kept scoring goals. That was just a purple patch else he always an average striker
His first touch finishes were incredible
man the nostalgia hit hard
Hits even harder now my man. But we’ve had good times……
This guy was superb to watch. Rangers loss was definitely Evertons gain. And he was on fire that first season at Everton.
Loved Jelavic, he was good for us
Lol for half a season
Yeah, me too! Absolutely a tragedy he went from this to being apparently just unable to do it any more!!! :(
Swear u comment on every single everton vid on youtube lol
Is that u James?
Loved him at Rangers
Loved his celebrations, always looked like it mattered so much to him
Me too, his goal celebration were 🔝🔝

Miss him :,-( was my favorite player back then. Had his kit and everything.
5:40 jelavic knicked his fans hat lol
So many memories... Him, felleni, pinnare , Howard even Moyes 😂
Was it just me or did this make youse realise how good fellaini actually was
He was really good for us, had great vision while passing and great physically too
Fellaini arteta cahill pienaar . Great midfield.
A fantastic for both Rangers & Everton
Miss the mirallas is this video. Top class. Fellaini too. Makes you wonder what went wrong
Also miss these crowds. The city game 🙌🏻
Moyes left
@@gsaikrishna95 Naah, the team were going stale before Moyes left. the gap between the top six and Everton just got wider while the gap between Everton and the rest got smaller.
Proper miss this guy, if only we could have that season with him again
Him and fellaini were a force miss this
For 12 months this guy was unstoppable. When his form went out the window afterwards i've never wanted a player to turn things around so badly.
Remember getting his shirt for the new 2012/13 season at evertontwo. Miss him a lot.
For around 12 months we all thought we had signed the next schevchenko ...but how good was Fellini in that era . outstanding
"Flying fortress" -thats how we called him here in Croatia
Not an Everton fan but thought this guy was pure class and that header v Man Utd is one of the best ever in the prem in my opinion

16 goals in half-seasson!!
Wish we had someone like him up front now, because damn do we need some goals
Loved him at ibrox. Gutted when he left. Proper quality
本当に大好きだった
Jela was just brilliant
He was a great finisher
Loved that guy!
I remember loving jelavic he was great
He was an excellent centre forward who I thought didn't get the proper rub of the green in his time in England, but he certainly made his mark at first 👍👊⚽️❤
ONE TOUCH KILLER
Everything he touches, turns into gold
Nanananananana Jela jelavic jelavic, JELA JELAVIC!
Absolute scenes for that last goal v City
Look at how we bossed Man city😂 ah good ol' days
You were our bogey team back then ahahah

What an absolute beast Jelavic was, that 7th goal against Fulham was just crazy, looks like he shoots through the GK's legs 😂
The good era of everton player.. Miss those days.. Just left coleman on the bench today
One of the best players
This man was good proper goal machine we could do with him now
Like so many of our strikers get chucked up top on their own and expected to do everything , seen how deadly he could of been if we fed him a bit more

Wasn't the Man City game at 6:20 also the game where Howard was injured so we started Mucha? Man, what a game that was, winning 2-0 in injury time.
Oh yeah... That guy
Rangers had a legitimate baller in Nikica Jelavic. His goal against Celtic in the league cup final the season before he signed for Everton was a last minute goal that hit both posts before going in
What a day that was against city
What a time to be alive
He was one hell of a striker early on
ohhh wow what a player hee was
he was my favourite when he was at Rangers
natural goal scorer
From a rangers fan i loved this guy
Loved the guy at Rangers ❤
Everton were hard back in the day🤩
king of the first time finish
His second touch really was a celebration
What happened to the goodison park atmosphere? One of the best, from a Arsenal fan.
Everton looks good that season
I feared no one back then.. no team made me think we couldn’t beat them
Ngl don’t remember fellaini being this good
Fellaini was brilliant for us. For whatever reason he couldnt replicate it at United.
Jelavić 🔝🔝🔝 🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
Our squad has improved so much
But the resoults,not so much😂
results stay the same though, people always underrate teams from that time
Could have been a superstar .. unlucky with injuries when he was flying
Dare I say it, but one of our best ever players in the PL era
Don't think he was
He did what he did well but he was a bit one dimensional in my opinion.
Wasn't with us doing it for long enough unfortunately. What made his form drop off so emphatically? Such a shame. Some of his movement/finishing in this clip is absolute top class.
@@sbirchysbWell, Kanchelskis was our best in PL era and he wasn't with us for long either...
pity we didnt have him 5 years earlier
Na na na na na na na na na
Jela Jelavic Jelavic Jela Jelavic :)
nikica jelavić is the all time best croatian in premier league...amazing! check the video on my channel and u will see
Started off brilliantly, faded badly but some good moment's there
I thought we had the new Lineker at one point wasn't to be, still a top lad tho.
He was quality that first half a season lol
Just fucking hit it !!!!
"JUST FUCKIN HIT IT!"
Like a young Mike Tyson. Then became the shit Mike Tyson. Will always remember them first thirty games!
he is god!!!
Amazing player should have kept him bit longer maybe got him bit earlier than we did
broxi2 wouldn’t have sold him for a bargain
If premier league had started from Jan 2011... We would have won it
You?
@@nazeemameen1253 Everton

The limbs on the goal vs city tho
baines, baines, baines... god knows how much I miss LB3 :(
Moyes era was a Bliss... With money he could have done wonders
The goal vs city 2-0
Jelavic>Kane
Nikola Vlašić 🔝🔝🔝🔝 🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
By his own admission, he got lazy after his incredible first season, didn't train as much etc and that's when his form dipped. He could never get back to his exposive start with us.
I have to say spoiled by Moyes
I will never understand what happened to this guy
Only coleman left behind
Hull City
Have we now got a jelavic in the side today....simple answer is no.
moyes should not go
What happened to him he was good and then went shit and lukaku replaces him
He's in china 2nd football league now i think
apart from his finishing, he was actually not very good in anything else. opposing teams wised up and started marking him out of games, and that was all it took to shut him down
He just wasn't that great tbh had some good moments but was pretty meh
Jelavic or not, still below Liverpool :)
El Nino obsessed!
Honestly he wasn't that good(overall for 90minutes). But I remember there was a time when he couldn't miss, kept scoring goals. That was just a purple patch else he always an average striker
