- Tim Cahill scored 56 goals for Everton in the Premier League across eight seasons. A modern-day Goodison hero and a Socceroos legend who wasn't the tallest but was one of the deadliest players in the air. What's your favourite Tim Cahill goal?

He’s the only player who’d take a penalty with his head
And score.
@@KickassUncleAnd the keeper would fail to save it.
56 goals and 31 were headers. One of my favourite players of all time, absolute legend.
Moreover, he was only 1.78 meters high. I wish I was an Everton fan before, but I was from 2012-13.

AND NOT A LEGEND LIKE CLASS AS CAHILL I WOULD LOVE ANOTHER CAHILL NOW
I still remember going with my dad to see Everton against Villa, up to that point I never really took that much of an interest in football, was bored most of game, only to see him leap like a Salmon from the corner to head home the game winner, sprinting to the corner flag and showing it as much mercy as Floyd Mayweather would his wife, the day I fell in love with football.
Gay
Yes
Ha
That’s dope man
As fine of a football origin as the come
Being an Australian, an Everton fan and also having a Liverpool fan as a brother that I really wanted to annoy way back in 2004, Tim Cahill is unsurprisingly my favourite player.
10:48 - This is how good he was at heading. He only had a few milliseconds to react to a ball that was smashed at him at knee height from less than 10 meters away. Puts it away with his head.
For someone who’s only 5,10 he sure had a knack for hanging in the air and beating 6,4 defenders. Averaged a bit less than 10 goals a season and 80% of those were mid air. I don’t know how he did it but I am glad he did it consistently
Perhaps the most unsung player in all premier league history. I would have given anything to have had him at the Villa.
Less than 6ft and I can scarcely remember a better player in the air. Speaks to an incredible knowledge of the game and mental skillset. Positioning, timing, off the ball movement, anticipation and decision making all world class.
This man was so underrated glad he's getting one of the new fifa hero cards
An Everton legend! Probably the hungriest Toffee to wear the Royal Blue Jersey ... at least in my life!
COYB!!!
We're really missing a player like this in the squad. And it's really strange to see him score with anything other than his head :)
one of the best Target Man ever 🔥🔥
Possibly the most dangerous person from a set piece.
The reason Samoan people loved Everton and the P.L
He's Australian?
@@sloppygoo Australian/Islander

Man, you do not know how long I've been waiting for this one! What a legend! COYB!
What I loved about the Moyes era (Leeds fan) was how you got quality players really cheap. I feel Everton need to be that club again. Develop youth and sign underrated gems instead of mercenaries
Drink whenever the goal was a header.
Now this is what you call a legend. Best header of a ball from a midfielder iv ever seen
Legend! greatings from Brazil
As an Australian , who has followed football for nigh on 72 years and played it until I was 36, I have to say this about Tim Cahill. Although he has a fine record at Millwall, Everton and of course the Socceroos, I do not have him in my top five of all time players from Australia. Why? because of his lack of technique around the ground compared to Marco Bresciano who plied his trade in the Serie A for nigh on 15 years is by far, I believe the most technical player Australia has ever produced. He is my number one followed by Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Craig Moore and Mark Schwartzer. All had excellent techniques and including Lucas Neil as well..All played Premier League football for a long time except Marco who opted to stay in Italy even though he had many offers to move. Just my thoughts but Cahill was an excellent header of the ball considering his small stature. One of his sons is or was playing in the Australian A-League right now.
Yeah you’re just subconsciously racially biased. It’s alright he’s Samoan, English, and Irish he just happened to grow up in Australia
Cahill, Baines, Jagielka, Howard ,Pienaar all Everton legends what an era that was .
And Arteta !
He was such a world class player he could of played for anyone, his hunger during games was incredible and his heading ability for a player his height was unbelievable 😳 , he talks about his ability and some reason when he talks about it, it doesn't make sense but when you think about it, it does make sense
this guy got three legs..... two at the bottom and one on top.... bloody legend header... love u Timmo...
Im almost in tears!! Thanks Tim EFC legend!!!
A man for the big game was TC! Absolutely love him.
Footballer with rugby mentality. Pride of straya
Wow Timmy. Unreal.
He was one of my favorite players all time I love his celebration a true legend passion the love of the game a lot of the things he done for Everton
This lad was great, and he turned up against the big teams and scored.
the only thing scared more than the opposition of this man were the corner posts
Could do with half a dozen cahills right now, what a buy what a player what an Evertonian.
10:53 most people will chest down and volley, not Tim mate, not Tim..
Man Citys worst nightmare.
And Liverpools
One of the best players of all time at heading
An Everton legend, always a pleasure to watch him perform and his work rate was amazing.
He was the bargain of the decade at £2million from Millwall. Scored 52 goals for Millwall in about 200 appearances, decent return from a midfielder.
As a liverpool fan, I couldn’t care less he played for everton he’s my aussie goat 🐐
His timing of his headers was superb, a real aussie legend.
2012 when he left. Feels like yesterday. Time really does go by so fast.
This man is a huge reason why I love football and Everton. True professional and pure quality
Criminally underrated even to this day
I really miss watching our man tear it up in the green and gold.
God I love this man
Never ever would I have thought a Samoan would go and carve up in the FA until Cahill came bra 💯 686 to the World 🇼🇸🇼🇸
Should make him an icon for the fans, like nakata
You’d be surprised how many people forget that Australians play football.
@@anubeia lol as an Aussie sometimes I do too
He’s an icon now 😊
What a underrated player. He was brilliant

The hop before the punch flag😂
Absolute Legend 👌🏾💯 🦘🥊🇦🇺
Though I'm not Everton fun tim cahill was my favourite player still watching 2023
Without a doubt the best header of a ball I’ve ever seen the man was a royal blue tank ready to go to war every week.
My Childhood Hero, I wish he was in our midfield instead of Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin.
Tbf Sigurdsson does try his hardest and gave us a season with 21 goal contributions. He's just in horrific form. He's still better than Tom Davies. Iwobi on the other hand never will give us anything in terms of goal contributions.
@@sukhdevr3489 wow. A fair analysis on Sigurdsson? Never thought I'd see the day.
@@BlueBird14095 Lol I see what you mean. Hes still better than Iwobi
@@sukhdevr3489 absolutely. Iwobi genuinely looks scared of the ball or the opposition. Or both.
Sukhdev R34 sidgurson needs to go and iwobi and schniderlin get Gomes gbamin and holgate in those positions
Header legend❤️❤️❤️
Now that Tim is retired all the corner posts can breathe a sigh of relief! 🤣🤣🤣
Fighter winner a never say die guy.
I was waiting for an hour long video
Pound for pound the best head'er there is
Best headers!!!!!
His hunger for winning is what has been lacking for Everton since he left. Legend!
Bent and Timmy link up nicely
Heading the ball is part of the game
With him in this team now.... it'd be great!!
COYB!
what a man😁 didn't realise he never scored in 2011 like
Hahaha I remember that Derby goal in 06. Probs the most drunk I've ever been in me life.
My FAV no 17 COYB
55% of his goals was from headers, LEGEND!
Holy fuck, I wish he was still with us
We really had some tough players during this era. Cahill, Gravesen, Carsley, Hibbert, Jagielka, Baines, and even Phil Neville could dish it out.
Now, what do we have?
What position did he play?
CAM,CM ,
All his goals vs Liverpool, city , arsenal , Chelsea etc
his youth played the part,,his a good product of australia go aussies
He loved scoring against man city and Sunderland
Do one of lukaku but include goals from cup competitions too
not a tall guy but he was so dangerous in the air
5,10 is tall
Hes scored all types of headers.
Man do I miss the early Moisie days man. Football is fucked nowadays. Too much money deciding what happens.
Find a better header of a ball, absolute legend for me💪💪💪
32 headers. Insane!
31 i counted may be wrong
