Changing the delivery method has been the most useful for me. Trying to quit for 2 years. I am very busy. My sleep schedule is never normal. Everyone has a vape around me. Switching to nicotine pouches like Zyn or Rouge has worked very well. First 6 mg, then 4 mg pouches once I was comfortable. Sometimes minimizing your nicotine intake and choosing a safer method of delivery is more important than completely quitting. The pouches satisfy my urge enough to not go back to the vape. Once I am in less stressful and more consistent circumstance, I plan on quitting the pouches as well through nicotine gum.

Thanks bro, getting me to quit cold turkey! I'm ready and my mindset is pathed out. I think becoming a young adult you dont necessarily know the way your mind is until you hear someone else's experiences that's the same age. I'm worried that I'm not good enough for a partner from my past experiences with girls, I'm decent looking but I'm just not that sly. I have vaped daily since I was like 16... I'm 21 now, started drinking more and that's been scaring me lately, as I do vape I'm sure quitting cold turkey will help me get back into not drinking alcohol. I drank here and there when I was about 16 to 17 all the way up to about 18-19 and then quit because I didn't like how bad my dad is addicted to alcohol, his brothers included, they turn into different people, me on the other hand, am a little more emotional in that regard so I am far too self aware to ever be someone different. I've noticed nights where I'll get urges to have a few and then it turns into shots etc etc I vaped before I had the erge to drink and vaped while I was drinking. THC honestly has been the one thing that I don't do too much of, I have a dab pen that I hit maybe 2-5 times a day at most. I get drunk and get super paranoid like I won't be able to fall asleep and I guess my body goes into overdrive and I have no melatonin. That's because I'm overly aware of myself I guess, the difference between my father and uncles. I whole heartedly believe that vaping is a big promoter for other urges too! I hope quitting gives me a little less anxiety socially at the very least. You'd have to say that there's a little pride that you feel that outweighs the idea of not enjoying life when vaping vs actually not vaping and figuring out how to enjoy your life without vaping!

I feel so bad after 30 days being clean it just makes no sense to continue, because why to feel so incredible bad and disgusting. I fight this fucking nightmare for 10 years. I have been clean for 1 or even 2 years and I was NEVER free. Every fucking day was a struggle. So my goal of being FREE never realized, all I got from this plan of stop smoking was just a never ending streak of suffering. And Im just not able to go on as it makes NO sense to go on.

I’m on day 5 and running helped me out the last few days. Going out for walks and soaking up the sunshine helps a lot too. I’m also juicing veggies and fruits and just eating healthier but idk if that’s helping because I made that switch before I quit. Oh yea, smoking a vape helps too. Jkjk.. I really want to tho. Hehehe. Im not gonna lie… I’m miserable.

Oh yea I quit kratom and nicotine at the same time, almost. I quit kratom for six days then I was like… let’s quit nicotine too! 11 days sober from kratom and 5 days sober from nicotine. I might relapses on one of them. Idk yet. Just know that life is joyless and I can’t cope with this anymore. I’ll hold out as long as I can tho.

You’ll never quit and stay quit forever with the willpower method. Willpower runs out.
You need to reprogram your brain and replace your belief system around the fact that nicotine does nothing for you. Each craving is part of a perpetual cycle of discomfort to relieve the last dose. Having a hit gets you back to a state that you achieve at all times before you were a non vaper/smoker/chewer.
The myth that nicotine is hard to quit is part of a faulty belief system. I quit 2 weeks ago cold turkey and have had almost zero cravings the entire time and no real withdrawal symptoms at all. No uber addictive drug is that easy to quit.
Read easy way to quit smoking by Alan Carr. Seriously. Reprogram your brain. Or read easy way to quit vaping (updated from some other dude with Alan’s principles).

u can do this man. Ive been using cannabis and nicotine for around 5 years but have recently decided to quit both of them cold turkey. Im currently at 35 days for both and its honestly benefitted me in every aspect of life. I used to heavily smoke both substances, literally everyday typa thing. Quitting never used to seem impossible but things have seriously been getting better and the crazy thing is I didnt experience any withdrawls at all. Only cravings from time to time but that was really it. U can do this man, just Gotta believe in urself@@jakethasnake3524
