    Polly Bergen was the only female panelist in the series run to have hair that still looks modern today. You can still see women walking around in 2023 with that hairstyle.

    What more can be said about Polly taking over the show again. Was it all an act? Camille Henry was an excellent player in the 1950s and early 1960's for the NY Rangers. He was a goal scorer rather than a playmaker. Kitty always has a great time. You can always hear her laughing in the background. Thanks for the video.

    Camille Henry of the New York Rangers, aka "Camille the Eel" because he was the smallest hockey player in the NHL during many seasons and was adept at sneaking in front of the net behind the oppositions defensemen and tipping in shots of his teammates for goals. I tended to favor the smaller players and he was my first favorite hockey player.

      @@Walterwhiterocks I know who he is and that he played for the Rangers a few years ago, including a dramatic key goal on Mother's Day in the playoffs shortly after his mom died. But I can't say that I have any favorite players these days. I don't follow the sport very closely any more. It used to be that I could name every player on the Rangers and a couple of their best players on their top farm team in the AHL. Now I can barely name more than a handful, and I'm not sure if I can spell the last names of half of them. And that doesn't include Brady Skjei who was traded away in February. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I found out that was the player whose name I thought was "Shea".

    I just googled Philippe Langlois (which is the correct spelling). What a sad situation.

      Good Grief. All this useless, meanspirited bickering! This just happens to be recorded in English in the U.S. Several other cities and countries logically broadcast this same show in their specific languages.
      Wherever there is miscommunication, that is accurately called a "language barrier"! No insults intended. Just enjoy the very entertaining program. Please.

      Johan Bengtsson I always love it when they do things like that! It puts me in mind of the episode when the contestant was an identical twin, and they had a pair of identical twins in the game, but if I'm remembering correctly, neither one of them turned out to be the real one. (I'll have to watch it again to check whether or not I'm right about that.) I also loved the one in which Bud Collyer's son turned out to be one of the impostors. :)

    What's My Line? Gary, there seems to be a discrepancy between the episode title and the information given in the description. The information in the description is correct. (Philip Langua was the fiance of one of the Dionne quintuplets -- not an expectant father of 5; Frances G. Knight was director of the U.S. Passport Office -- not the Patent Office.)

    • @totellthetruthcbs4220
      @totellthetruthcbs4220  9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      SaveThe TPC I finally corrected it. This is what happens when I don't watch the shows before I post them. The descriptions aren't mine, I took them from a very helpful website (it took a long time to crunch it into usable form, but I didn't create it). I only write the video titles, based on scanning over the descriptions, and I just must have misread this one. Thanks for the correction.

      Well, Polly is certainly a lovely and fine actress, but I'm always irritated by her repeated "schtick": fumbling around, not ready, rambling on about reasons to vote for one, but she's "always wrong because it's probably the other one"... silliness works occasionally but constant bugs people and wastes time!
