For a guest panelist, Ozzie Nelson asked very intelligent and helpful questions. Usually the guest panelist does not, with some exceptions.

The closed captions introduce the host as "but codger" 😂.

Imposter #2 in the final game, George "Snuffy" Stirnweiss was a mainstay of the New York Yankees infield in the 1940s, playing on several championship teams. Tragically, just two months after this appearance on TTTT, he was killed when his commuter train plunged off an open drawbridge into Newark Bay.

It was great seeing Ozzie Nelson. Yes, the father of Rick Nelson. Husband of Harriet and father of his other son David. The panel was indeed on fire the first two games. Thanks for the video.

Ozzie Nelson, as a former band leader, was the guest panelist to have to question the jazz musician group.

In many areas Polly is almost magically ditzy, but she does display a solid knowledge of jazz.

I really enjoyed the jazz contestant. Some great questions on that round and even the imposters had some good answers.

Ozzie Nelson was a great, fun player. As a band leader who knew how to figure out the real jazz musician on the name of the chord and then he eliminated two contestants by getting them to give, in detail, the colors of a made up stable. I wonder if he ever came back.

Somehow it didn’t seem appropriate for Bud Collier’s wife to be walking away with any money. He should’ve said that he was going to donate it.

In game 3, the audience laughed at the quarter horse reply from contestant #1 although, to my knowledge, he was correct.

The middle guy of the musicians sure reminded me of a young Johnny Depp.

My understanding is that Harry Roble was a jockey at a very young age and upon going through puberty outgrew the job. It wouldn't be allowed today.

f, b flat, d, a flat chord would be an inverted five 7 chord in the key of E flat: b flat, d, f, a flat

Man, whatever happened to Andy Marsala? He never made any albums to my knowledge, except that Newport Youth Band album in '57. It's like he just dropped of the face of this earth.

Note the casual assumption that the three contestants would have had some use for a pack (not even a carton--cheapskates!) of Marlboros, a brand that by 1958 was marketed almost exclusively to males. I'd rather have had the apothecary jar of Geritol; at least the jar might have been useful.
