Some of the last defenders of Berlin weren't even German. The 33rd SS Grenadier Division was a French volunteer SS unit. And they were at the forefront of the battle at the Reich Chancellery.
They were like 300-600 Frenchmen to hundreds of thousands of German soldiers and militia

I thought you fought extremely well in this difficult scenario. You managed to destroy all the Russian armor except for the ISU-152! The only thing I would have done differently was drive the little Goliath between the destroyed buildings and creep up on the ISU-152 from behind where the ISU-152 armor is the weakest, the 220 kg of explosives that the Goliath carries is more then enough to send the ISU-152 through the Gates of Hell. Another weakness the the ISU-152 has is that because it is only self-propelled armor with no real turret, the ISU-152 has to re-position the entire tank in order to aim it's cannon at an enemy behind it, which is very time consuming. If you still do not have a Goliath available a Panther would a perfect choice since it has a turret and can aim it's cannon faster then an ISU-152! Also I would wait until the ISU-152 is isolated from its friends then attack it with a Goliath or a Panther. I think you had the same idea that I had but you just got caught by the Russians while in the process of doing it. If a Royal King Tiger can be destroyed in this game I am sure that an ISU-152 can be too! Just look up the numbers on armor thickness between the King Tiger and the ISU-152 since I am positive that the game programmers went by the "book" on this one!
220 Kg of TNT should be sufficient in destroying pretty much anything from any side.

I love that final objective. After surviving the countdown it turns out there is no one else coming to help. And all the high command can do is demand the troops stay loyal and die fighting.
That feeling of hopelessness after that revelation was 100 times worse for the men who were there.

I played this one. It’s a very nice little historically accurate mission that gives you a great impression of what SS Nordland went through in the final days. A compete mishmash of the worst gear and the very best. Very interesting. I really wish the developers would give us the Ausf D Sdkfz 251. They dominated the German halftrack scene from mid 1943 onward but aren’t in the game. It and the Sdkfz 250 Neu would be great additions.

Pretty sure the STUG was the biggest tank killer of WW2 of all armored vehicles
Luckily, no IS-3s, T-44s, or any other 'special' Russian armor showed up!
King Tiger goes through t44 easy, the IS3 on the other hand....
Would be a cool scenario to have to defend the actual fuhrer bunker, the last place of resistance in Berlin. Defended by SS French volunteers 😂
That was tough but good mission and playthrough. The AT gun and stug was afk half the time so if you had the pak gun next to the panther and more infantry near king tiger, golith closer in those hidden possition i recon it would of lasted longer. Also using the infantry and panzer 4 to rush those is2 might have been better than getting slaughter from behind. But again that took us all by suprise with a whole wave behind it. Wish they gave a mg and motar or something and glad that 203mm artillary didnt shoot
As a 19k, 45E, 63E I can say that the depiction of the coax MG in this game is BS.
The coax is basically bolted down on a immovable object. Unless the barrel is shot out, you should have next to No Spread.

9 times out of 10 aim for the gap between the turret and hull or the lower part of the front to pen from the front with guns that can't go through normal from the front

Call to Arms is way better if you like realism. RobZ can only do so much. MoW is arcadey.

Games like this would be impossible due to the amount of controls and just the features of it
My problem with RTS games, aside from being an old man with poorer reflexes, is that it isn't realistic. These games should be co-op with a commander overlooking the battlefield, directing subordinates and reserves. I think it would be much more playable; as commander you get to feel the nuances of the battle and enjoy the game overall, and as subordinates, the soldiers perspective. Of course, it could cause friends to get irritated with one another, but isn't this more realistic? That would be a game worth playing.
Try Gary Grigsbys War in the East 2 or War in the West.
look up Hell let Loose. kinda what you described but is a FPS game with one player commander and 49 other player subordinates with a few squad leaders to help coordinate

open the inventory with "I" then right click the MG after you put it in
though not all veicles can mount a MG
I must say watching you was not nearly as fast as historical, the german tank gunners at that time took mere seconds to line up a kill shot and take it, they couldnt take as long as you were they had to shoot and move to survive or target another tank or die.

@@profeten4510 I have relatives that were on the german side. They talked about how fast they were at fighting with the years of combat experience and the fact that if you didnt shoot and kill fast, you were toast

That’s the point. The Defense of Berlin was incredibly rushed the Soviets advanced so quickly near the end of the war in the west/east.

The Goliaths did very little at Omaha Beach in '44. Not of much utility.

I survived the whole mission just for it to end by a glitch cause at the start where all enemy tanks spawn the last enemy was behind the tanks and i couldnt get him

I really do love these games, really fun to play. Its sad though since this company is absolute scum, wouldn't want to give them another dollar. EVERYTHING is a DLC, so if money is no object then buy the game.
Yeah they've been dodgy for ages, but they have a genre that no one else does so not much choice.
I remember buying Men of war Vietnam at launch just for them to kill the servers after a single week, or how men of war assault squad 1 and 2 where the same games.

what destroyed the Tiger 2, no weapon can penetrate 6 inches sloped Tiger 2 front armor. Unless it was a landmine or side or rear
armor got hit.
Possibly a turret shot from an IS-2- and since the ammunition from the Tiger II is kept in the turret it’s likely that’s what causes it’s demise
That is completely untrue. The armor on the front of a Tiger II was as thick as 185mm. A D-10 Soviet made gun could achieve a penetration of 197mm at 750 meters with the use of APBC ammo. Said gun was mounted on the SU-100 self propelled gun. Plus, post war tests revealed that other Soviet guns - the D-25T 122mm gun and the 152mm artillery piece mounted on the ISU-152 SP gun - were able to penetrate the frontal plate of a Tiger II at reasonably good distances (around 500 meters). And saying “no weapon” opens up the ability to talk about modern weapons you have to be more specific.
I applaud Sovs armor for sure. However you miss a huge important point about how armor works. 187mm armor penetration will not penetrate King Tiger armor, you should know why. Do you know or do you want it explained?@@owensks

No at this time it’s all hope for Germany. Even by 1942 they were completely doomed and there was almost nothing they could do to stop the Allied war machine. America by 1942 was an unstoppable force with ridiculous production of tanks and a lot of manpower.
