Divison while WW.II. The were attached to the 3. Panzergruppe and that very first battle you are about to play is were i lost 12 relatives. To be precise, 4 died on the way to Vyazma. My Grandfather was caught and stayed POW until the end and roughly 10yr beyond in Russia.
Oh! and i've also found way around the bad A.I. pathing for vehicles ( or any unit for that fact). Just hold shift and set a specific path for them to follow, such as pathing along roads and across bridges, they will follow the path that you've set for them. Yes, its a lot more micromanagemt than MoW but i think that's the charm of this game.
This looks and sounds amazing! Hearing the Panzer 2's autocannons chunkchunkchunk-ing.. Beautiful! Remix that into a song and I'd dance to it. Also, if these missions are anything to judge it by, Gates of Hell might have some excellent campaigns!
@@shady8205 Yea - I tend to dislike shell or arrow trails in games, and I usually turn them off. Even if it means I get less information, the trails really hinder my immersion. I hope there's an option to turn them off! Wonder if there's a way to ask the dev to put that in !
Sure as hell I will suck in this game for first few days. Instead of barking orders here and there I will just be viewing amazing detail job done on tanks and other equipment. That Panzer 38(t) with spare wheel and log attached to its side is simply outstanding!
I really wish MoW and this would add hot keys for squads. So squad 1= key 1 etc. Makes selecting them way faster..and if you're OCD like me and like your units organized ...it would be much appreciated.
Excellent mission, but I think you left the infantry to exposed at times. To quote the master, Heinz Guderian " Don't dribble, spew!" Early day's, but need to get that armour forward earlier, not helped by the ai which doesn't seem to realise it's in a war zone! 😲💀
That 'T-26' is actually an American M2A2 Interwar Light Tank. There is one called the M2A2 "Mae West" on display at Patton Cavalry and Armor Museum in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
I guess Raptor. In some kind you should better change your tactics in comparison to Men of War. The healing of men is not going that fast any more like it was in MoW. But I think thats ok because you must move more outflanking and tactical etc.. And you did not find the nebelwerfer ... am I right? Thanks god no KV-1`s came in.

Yeah, newer version of the same engine with improvements to run better like 64-bit support. Call To Arms runs better on my pc than MOW:AS2 due to the newer engine.

the sounds effects are cool but I don't like the line the shells make when firing, looks unrealistic

I would think if it was more realistic if the atacking side was not aware of the details of the opposing force until some scouting.
Raptor turned the fog of war off hence why he sees the entire enemy's presence on the map.
Raptor if you go into the Northwest Corner of the map youll get a secret objected complete and their will be a nebelwerfer there.

Select a squad, do shift+1 and theyre bound to the 1 key. You can bind 9 units of any kind.
You can do this already in both GoH and vanilla Mow2, just select a squad and hit shift + number.
Like: shift + 1.

He does. It's best used with AT guns or better medium tanks.

Instead of an omnipotent view of enemy positions. Go to ground level form a combat convoy and advance. Just like the Germans had to do.
