- For today I will be showing you my 2015 Ford Focus SE that I have owned since March of 2018. It's been an overall good car to me, and we've taken care of each other both. You'll get to see what i've done with the car over the years, and how it has held up. Hope you enjoyed and don't forget to comment your thoughts down below! PEACE!

I just bought one today 93,330 miles on it. Clean. These comments scare me lol
I miss my 2016 focus. Had a similar sub setup as you and kept it very clean but I was very very hard on the car. I had the transmission recall done because that clutch pack did go out on me at 120k miles. I was lucky with the suspension and other than the transmission recall I just had to replace my headlight bulbs pretty often. Other than that up until the day a drunk guy hit me and totaled it, it was solid still with 136k miles and I had it from brand new. Really want to buy another one.
We have a 2018 ford focus SEL with 80,000 miles and we owned it almost 3 years and bought it with 23,000 miles and the transmission has been holding up pretty good so far and the engine is still in good shape too
Since I drive a 1998 Toyota Camry. Anything from 2015 is like brand new to me lol. It needs new brakes but other than that it’s a reliable car.
‘98 Camry GANG 🤜 🤛
Thank you for this video. Going through this problem now, have only had the car for 2 weeks.😢
Sounds counterintuitive but you should drive the car harder to preserve the cat. The cat will slowly clog up over time if you don’t get it hot enough to burn off contaminates. I routinely take my car to redline and drive over 100mph on the highway. Keeps my engine and emissions equipment nice and clean.
For real?
Um, sounds like a good way to lose your license. At that point you won't need to worry about your cat. 🤣🤣🤣
What about the transmission
@@TheMFStudios you sound like your very fun at partys kevin
Holy crap I'm glad I watched the whole video...same make same model. And I was WONDERING why the heck it wasn't going into gears correctly when I accelerate and decelerate. Thank you man. I'm still figuring out what to do. I bought it from a Ford dealership do you think they will fix it for free? I'm lost... thanks.
not me waving back at your window reflection lmao
Been waiting for this one! Are you doing a video on the 2003 Tauras as well?
If I were you, I'd take it to Carmax and just see what they'd offer for it. Who knows they might give you $5000 given the new car shortage and you can sell the car on the spot.
@@martins4118 I did this with my 2007 Scion XD. They paid me $4,000 for it, which was nice.
i've got the new model focus and love it!
What up Fort Wayne fam!
Nice review! Almost old enough to get my drivers license. 🗿
I remember when you used to play music and live stream with the old máximo in the background
Those auto transmissions have been known to fail for years, surprised Ford used it for so long. My coworker had a Fiesta that went through four sets of clutches in it's 250,000 mile life. I just bought a '15 Focus in January and I stayed away far away from any automatic I found, mine has the 3 cylinder turbo and the 6 speed manual. I love it, definitely the way to go imo
nice video lucas
I have this car
Has 60,000 miles on it
Works great
Wishing you all the best man. I owned a few more Fords after the Focus featured in this video and I had to give it up. Traded in my final Ford at the end of 2023. Currently sitting in a Toyota as I type and i'm never looking back at Ford. Too unreliable...
I hope you have better luck than me, truly!!!!
where are you located? I’m a college student & really need a 1st car i love the design of it !
Ford Fiesta - The dealership is having a fiesta racking up your repair bill
Ford Focus - You better focus when your pushing it to the shoulder of the road
Ford Fusion - It causes confusion when your wrenching on it
Ford Escape - You should of thought about escaping at the dealership before buying it
Ford Explorer - You should have explored other vehicles
Ford F150 - Only worth $150 and that’s if it comes with a full tank of gas
Ford - Found On Road Dead
😂 love it
I love mine
why does my transmission have an s instead of an L on mine
I just got a Ford Focus 2018 titanium with 1500 miles , does the 18 have lots of transmission problems? I know the 12-16s have transmission.
@@TheAppleBuyer thank you man but I love the car though focus’s are sharp and sporty and I’m in college so I hope I made the right choice
I’m planning to buy a used 2014 focus. Same trim. Anything to watch out for before purchasing?
The transmission
The early 20 teens fiestas and focuses are literally the worst newer cars you could ever buy, I had a 2012 Focus, the transmission completely went out, and it was overheating and leaving me stranded, complete junk, I trust in 1980 Cadillac as a daily driver over that
Hi I am the iPhone 5S did you use me.
I have my 2015 se hatchback I’m at 131,229 I’ve had 5 new clutches, 4 tcms and bunch of other things. Thank god I bought the Ford extended warranty. My car breaks all the time and I take it to Ford and pay $100 deductible and they put me in a rental. If ya didn’t buy that warranty rip your wallet
@@TheAppleBuyer your car sounds like shit compared to mine. Should’ve bought an extended warranty and fixed things when it needed to be fixed. Now it sounds and feels like 💩💩💩
i should make one on my saturn lol
ford really needs to get their shit together though it’s sad tbh
What led did you use??
what aftermarket radio do you have
the sound bra.."...never chase a B*tch.."
I was going to get a 2015 ford focus with 90k miles on it used today now I’m really considering not
Did you get it?
I found ur video on socialblade
Yu still have the car
@@jeremiahday-k3q nope, sold it in September 2021, and the last Ford I ever owned was in Fall 2023. I have not looked back since and will never own another Ford again! Done!
You should have a instagram account again
You should sell it. Get a newer car but not a ford. I had a ford focus and I had to put a lot of money into it after a year of owning it. The transmission on mind gave out. It gave out right after the warranty was up. I only had the car for 2 full year before the transmission gave out. I also bought the car used with some miles on it. I had the same kind of ford focus just like you. I sold my car back in January with a non working transmission. I didn't want to put anymore money into it after the transmission gave out.
Just went down the EXACT same road as you. Just scrapped mine and bought a jetta
@@lyric4575 What year Jetta?
@@EastDallasKicks 2017 with 60k miles on it, Been driving it a week and I don't think I'll be going back to Ford anytime soon
@@lyric4575 Nice, just got a 08 VW rabbit 4 door but later on plan on getting the 4.6l f150 probably the 10th gen first then maybe a 5.4 11th gen then settle with a 4.6l 12th gen
@@EastDallasKicks I had an 08 f150 and I gotta say as nice as it was I wouldn't recommend it. I had nothing but problems with it as well. I've owned a Kia Rio, Ford Explorer, F150, and recently the Focus and from my experience ford has just not been the move.
How do I "go easy on the transmission"? .. late driver here.
Did you decide to sell this? I really wanted this model Focus. Just curious? Thanks
Yeah i sold it 2 years ago
Take it to an alignment shop and save yourself some money
Are you getting the iPhone 13 pro?
there is a reason ford isn't making these anymore. DO NOT PURCHASE a fiesta or focus from at least 10' to 18'. No surprise the DCT(trans) is bad(2k+ repair), but its super cheap throughout...plastic parts everywhere. Stay away from these vehicles. Im staying away from Ford in general. How could a company who knows of its design flaws still continue to sell these to consumers? They knowingly did so. I cant trust Ford.
There is guy on the focus-fanatics forums with 300k+ miles on his car and not much has gone wrong. I think that is evidence enough these are decently made cars.
i love running over childrens in my honda civic 1992 hatchback with a fair purchase price of 1,891 haha
Sale the Ford focus is a money hole 🕳
