    I enjoy every episode of Restoration Man. I read all the criticism here, but at a time when there is so much violence and vulgarity on TV, I find this show to be interesting and entertaining. How often can we be entertained and informed at the same time? I hope George continues to make this series. Well done, George. ( I love it when you refer to your kids).

    Running a restaurant now is when the work begins. Not a business for spending more time with leisure.
    But I like this couple wish the best for them.

    Maybe just farming and distributing chillies to grocers and restaurant would be more attainable...and have a chili farm stand (cute barn). Running a restaurant (without experience) is a whole different beast. Wish you the best of luck - love that their going for it

    I would absolutely love to eat there! I do think they have traded in one busy life for another because being a restaurateur is a 24hr job. But they will all be busy together, and that is the point of everything, togetherness!

  • @N-A-uw5fp

    Would also plant cilantro, lettuce, onions, tomatoes... for the restaurant. They won’t know what hard work is until they become full time farmers and restaurant owner. They’ll need to market their restaurant and chilies. I would have started with the farm first. Then learned to make roasted chili sauces, then the restaurant. Grow slow and smartly. Best of luck to them!

      @josh.nuttall 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@N-A-uw5fp yeah the Mexican restaurant was here for a good few years until the recession hit and we made some changes. The smokehouse started at the beginning of last year after many trips to the USA to experience real Texan BBQ food.

    • @mollymorgan8652
      @mollymorgan8652 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@josh.nuttall Pivoting to BBQ seems like a really good decision to me. In my experience, Brits I have known visiting Mexican restaurants in the US weren't prepared for the heat of mild to medium salsa. I'm sure there are people who eat plenty of spicy food, but I would expect the mass market appeal of BBQ to be an easier sell. Are you still farming chilis?
