That's definitely an interesting houserule. I also draft my commander cube with potential commanders first in an initial pack, like I explain in the first video of the series. So that's probably similar to how you go about it. You can see what I mean here: th-cam.com/video/n0XUjm4AkSM/w-d-xo.html
@@TheCommanderTavern yes my first cube i made was a huge hit. I watered the powerlevel down and included cards with evoke and echo to fit multiple builds. It was a great game and alot of power shifts. And everyone had fun. No mana skrewed we all had a blast. Your template was very helpful and my packs were 3 of each solo color then colorless so artifact and lands. And then multicolored was mixed in with the colorless. We draft untill the cube is all drafted. 1 hour long draft but gave us a strong tuned build that worked
Excellent! I was looking to build a commander cube so this def helps a bunch!
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
If you need more pointers check out the rest of the mini-series.
I can't think of a reason to play Shahrazad for any reason other than the one you mentioned! 😂😂😂
I know, right? XD
I do a commander draft first
Then any mono color lefendary creatures are in the draft packs solo color legends can be paired like partner

@@whynot7295 Sounds like a lot of fun!
Yeah, drafting takes a while, but the draft and deck-building process itself can be fun, too.
