In my opinion it is the best camera on any smartphone, android or not. Photo wise there is simply no context if you actually take into account everything this camera can do. Beside the fantastic main camera (that you could argue is just as good as the iPhone/pixel/Note) it also has the best wide lens and the best zoom. From what I gave seen with regard to video it is the best on android second only to the iphone.
Could you share your thoughts with me on P40 Pro + and Mate 40 Pro front facing camera? Which would provide a sharper and better quality image between the two?
Hey EveY! Thanks for watching :) The P40 Pro + has a 32MP front camera while the Mate 40 Pro has a 13MP. If you're looking strictly at sharpness alone, the P40 Pro + will definitely have sharper images. But again, if you're looking at the overall image quality, the processing is very similar on both phones. So the overall image you'd get, would essentially look the same. The Mate 40 Pro has really nice processing for the front camera and low light looks very nice too.

I’m worried under not so bright lighting Mate40 pro may get a little grainy images/photos with 13 megapixels. But I’m loving that the front camera comes with wide angle which P40 Pro + unfortunately do not have. I’m literally torn between the two. Such a hard choice to make. 🙈

If we had a review unit for the P40 Pro+, we could've done a comparison :( HOWEVER, if you're worried about low light performance - the lesser the megapixel count, the better it will be in low light. Meaning the Mate 40 Pro would perform better in low light. Depending on the size of the pixels and their ability to capture light, having lesser can sometimes be better since the size of individual pixels would be bigger. Bigger the pixel > more light it captures > better low light performance. Still, for social media posting 13MP is more than enough if you take compression into consideration. A 32MP file would be further compressed when posting online. We would still recommend trying it out in person if you get a chance at a Huawei outlet. Hope that helps! :)

Or is it that I have installed a UV tempered glass that covers the front camera? Pls enlighten me with the selfie camera Thanks!!!
When Huawei launch its P40 PP version am so amaze and decided to buy. But hold it bcoz they launch Mate 40 series (been using Mate 20x), am puzzled to change to P40 PP or Mate 40 PP. Really hard to decide ahahaha...
Years ago they were in 4th globally, then knocked apple out of 2nd in 2018, and was not far from Samsung in global sales. Then Trump ban came in and dropped them to 3rd, moving apple back up to 2nd.

Hey Joshua, not really. We've tried out various Huawei devices after the Google ban, and they're actually doing quite well. Of course if you rely on google services a whole lot you would feel the lack of them. But as a stand alone, the App gallery and petal search integration together do work quit well to make a very pleasant usability experience.
It is.... It is true Androd-AOSP. But it's not Google bitch phone anymore like every other Android smartphone manufacturer. So, actually it is better smartphone without GMS.

Nokia is the best buget smartphone camera because is all about the processing although the camera spec is kind of 0K but the processing is almost like a Pixel like camera

Hold on to your old Huawei phones my friends in China who just bought new Mate 60 Pro ALL have Buyer's Remorse and want a refund. Huawei's reign is over, obsolete chips and poor quality control. The old Mates and Pros are classics.. Will just keep using my P40 Pro... forever I guess.
