What was the weight of the trailer? I tow a 32' RV that is about 6,800 empty, maybe 7,500 loaded. Our 2021 with the older 3.0 did great and we averaged about 12.5-13.0. This was on a trip from west Texas thru Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico back to Texas. Went thru the Ike pass on I 70 in Colorado and it pulled just fine. Now have the 2023 with the new 3.0 and will be taking a trip in a few weeks. You should not have any issues towing that trailer depending on what you put in it.
I pull a 7.5x25 aluminum stealth predator with a gmc canyon duramax and it’s super impressive for a midsize truck. It’s definitely slow going up to speed but chugs along nice when it’s up to speed and exhaust brake really makes a big difference. Honestly it pulls better then my old 5.3 truck overall.
i believe it pulls better then the 5.3. i was impressed with power for sure. Definitely feel like it needs air bags BUT i am used to pulling with big trucks. so this was new territory for me
Check out the road master. It`s a long shock that goes over the leafsprings and is adjustable. They only come into play when there is a load in the bed or a trailer, so you don`t even know they are there when the truck is empty. I have afew friends that have taking off the airbags for these and love the hell out of them.

i would not weigh that much even loaded. The truck towed great i was happy. just need air bags but again i dont plan to tow with this!
Jesse's 7.5x18 model weights just a bit over 2500lbs.
Weight distribution hitch will help with rear suspension sag.
of course. or air bags.
Nice rig!
thank you!!
Was looking for an update on the new truck. Thinking about going baby diesel also.
im really enjoying it!
Does your Truck have the max trailering gear set ?
