  • First Trip camping at Lytle Creek yellow post campsite. We got there late so decided to just stop at the first site we saw, which was yellow post #1. We did 1 night. These sites are free of charge, just make sure you have a camp fire permit, and call ranger station and see what the fire restrictions are for the time you visit. Creek was just a short walk away. Our site was trashy from a previous camper that left their trash. Not cool. But we cleaned it up. Hope other people will do the same when they see trash, and not just leave it. Was a great trip. Road is bumpy and full of rocks. Recommend to have high clearance and 4x4 vehicle. Bring your own water and have a bathroom plan. They don’t have any amenities.
Look up Lytle Creek yellow post map to find other yellow post sites at Lytle Creek.

    Happy camping!
