for those out there who are doing this... i know DK custom sells a plug n play cable ready to just plug for 50ish bucks... I love dk custom great customer services, parts are on point every time, but if you`re doing the swap save yourself the 50bucks... you can just cut the wires from the original lights that alrdy have the female adapter and connect them with the stealth lights that dk gives you saving you more than 50 + dollars just solder them or bind them to your hearts desire. they have 2 options stealth lights for $119 or the stealth lights with plug n play for $218.
Yeah, agreed. Some folks like the plug-n-play, but not necessary at all if you want to wire them up yourself.

Is it possible to do this w/o using the specific wiring kit used here to split 1 wire into the running and brake? ( ie. Add a wire and tie it in that way?) Have a 3rd party tail light system but no way to wire my brake light as running...

You can definitely have one wire to the lights going to two wires on the bike, and vice versa.

So I think the running lights lead is 5V and when the brakes are engaged, 12v's is allowed through the line and rides over the 5v's.

The electronics for sending the signal over the wires to have the full function of Run-Brake-Turn are built into the unit.
If you look at the photo linked below, you will see that there are wires with a yellow section that is housing the electronics for the RBT.

Hi, I have a 2006 HD Sportster 1200xl, would those work without having the module installed?

You can see what will function and not function without a RBT module.
I was connecting tail signals to my 2008 sporster where I had only 3 cables and lights had 4 cables. I've looked up and try all possible ways to connect it so I did, and it has a running light and stop light but when I use turn signal I lose the stop lights, it's like a turn signal erase stop light after I use it. Let's say I use left signal and right after there's a stop light only in the right one, o use right signal and now I don't have a stop light in both of them, and I can reset this process by turning off ignition and turn it on again. Need help.

Do you sell just the dual element circuit wires (2 into 1 for brake and running lights)?
We do have them, we use them when making our lights. We do not have them for sale separately, however, we can do that for you.
We are in the middle of moving our manufacturing facility to a new location.

So, when you bring the two wires into the dual element, where does the one wire on the other go on the light. I've got three leads, not two on the light side.

you need to add a load equalizer in the turn signal wiring harness or your turn signals will stop working after a while. Larry B
This is true in some circumstance, but less and less. If the bike already came with LED's, a load equalizer is Not needed. If you are keeping incandescent bulbs on the on the front, then a load equalizer is not needed. wouldn't the plug and play work on that dyna? isnt the plug ins the same as the sportster? i got the same bike, 2017 low rider S , hope to hear back from you, would be easier to plug and play thank to solder and such.
I believe it does have the same connectors at the Sporty...but we wanted a video showing how to do the Universal Installation. :)

You can buy Chinese, that has no warranty, that does not support US Citizens or economy, and that may or may not work, and that is not as bright, and that has no Customer service.
A pair of turn signals go for around 160 sooo...
There's a flexible led on Amazon for like $15 that does the same thing if you wanna go budget friendly...to each their own...not sure why you'd complain about something you're not buying...props to DK for being a small business with solutions to things people wanna do...others just bitch about shit and do nothing 🤷🏻 the choice is yours
