now you need the smoke brake light led setup. I just got mine for chirstmas it was custom dynamic and the low profile. looks so good. visibility from the rear is great. LED's are the best.
RRI is the only way to go! You won’t be disappointed, their lights are amazing and Rich is a great guy to work with. We just installed a set on my wife’s Iron 1200 yesterday and I’m blown away by how good they look and function. I’ll definitely be upgrading the Custom Dynamics on my Low Rider S to RRI. Side by side RRI is a lot more of a punchy light output and the black backing is icing on the cake. The Custom Dynamics look really lazy and slow. If your running stock lamps or any other brand led lamps, make the switch!
We did a side by side comparison awhile back, and they're definitely brighter. With the 'no halo' and 'on / on' functionality, makes them a great light! And Rich is awesome, has been a real pleasure to work with!
Lil neat tip I learned from a old former mechanic if you take a tiny bit of acetone on a microfiber cloth you can clean those older style bulbs to take the oils off and keep them from burning up the glass or blowing it out

I'd like to add that on her bike, she can have the dealer flip a switch in the lighting control module so the turn signals act as brake as well as turn, since they aren't running lights, it helps light up the back end. The crew at Arrowhead Harley Davidson in Peoria AZ hooked me up. I'm very happy with how much extra it puts out. If I can figure out how to post a video, I'll shoot it this weekend.
@@weaverkevin5462 In the video I posted above, I apologise if I mis-spoke, it does not actuate a 'running' light as the rears are single filament. It converts the turn signal into a brake light when the turn signal is not already on. I put a video in to show it, and in it I did say Running light, but I definitely mis-spoke.
I really like the midnight blue color of MsBlockheads Low Rider. When you both are doing duel vlogs, the bike looks more blacked out than anything. I guess it's just a color you have to see up close. I have an 01 Sporty 1200 and I want to do an LED conversion. I was going to get the hogworkz xtreme halomaker led inserts but the lens caps they sell aren't like the lens caps on my bike. My lens caps have 2 screws (1 top and one bottom). Am I going to have to replace the entire light housing or does someone make smoked lenses that fit the older light housings?
you will need to put a voltage reducer or like what happened to me your turn signals and brake light will stop working after a cupple of months.Larry B
In Australia the turn signals don't act as running lights which is a shame, I think it adds to safety. I'm going to be looking into changing mine to running lights.
@@frederichbs1499 I think there is a relay you can buy that allows the indicators to be used as running lights but I'm not totally sure. I'm going to ask my dealer when I'm there next.
Adrian, we have had many overseas convert to make them work as running lights as well. You would need to purchase the 3 wire signal housings and hardwire them in, replacing the stock 2 wire international housings. Thanks, Rich!

I have the custom dynamic LED halo lights for my 2004 883 Harley... it also has a stabilizer, are you able to switch out those with the black label Road Rider series?
Question for you guys. I bought these after watching and I have a 09 Sportster XL 883 LOW. After locking the lights in I can not get the caps to fit back on over them. It's the original light housing, I coiled the wires. Any suggestions?

Since they have red lenses, they’re only for use on the rear. It’s illegal to have red forward facing lights. The company says they’re working on front covers as well 👍🏼
Heads up for anyone looking to do this on an international spec sportster. The front turn signals have 1156 globe connections and not 1157 connections. As I've just found out these great looking RRI front signals wont work on my Australian spec Roadster. Rookie error on my part I guess.
I feel like its awesome but at the same time led lights are so bright that they are blinding to oncoming traffic as well so it's good for the rider but dangerous for on coming when it comes to the head lights turn signals look good though
I believe they should work on an 07 Sportster, yes, so long as they're bullet style indicators like is in the video. You might have to get a load equalizer though. Cost wise, I've given links in the description which show cost.
I believe 2014 (with canbus) and later you don’t need a load equalizer. My wife’s 2018 Iron just needed to run the hazards for a few minutes to get it to sync. Same with my 2017 Low Rider S with Custom Dynamics lamps.
@@shanemkeyes1 The turn signal flash rate can be corrected by installing a Load Equalizer. A Load Equalizer is required for each incandescent turn signal lamp that is replaced by an LED experiencing 'bulb-out' or 'hyper-flash' warnings.
I don't believe so, they don't hyperflash and there's no 'key error light' on the dash that she's mentioned. Certain bikes though, you do need a load equalizer. I know I needed one for my 2013 Iron 883 when I went to all LEDs.

RRI hands down best LED turn signals.
Custom Dynamics pro beam and Ciro Fang are better. They are brighter, they are whiter, and use fresnel lenses to focus the light output.

Used CD for awhile. These are brighter, no halo, and have the on/on functionality when using indicators vs CD’s on / off / switch functionality.

You have to buy new duel circuit indicators. Euro and oz are single circuit.
Funny thing is, in America the turn signals don't work as turn signals for most, they're just running lights.

What color are the rear LED lights? Looks yellow on your video, Rogue website says they flash red.

Yes, the ones we installed and have linked in the description do that, but the Low Rider doesn’t have those as running lights.
