Hey Mr. Michigan. It's looking really nice. The styro block building, filled with concrete is familiar. They build homes here in Montreal with that method. Like duplex apartments, and single family homes with a max of 2 floors. One of my friends who lives uptown, I watched them build homes with that method in her neighborhood.
ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) is a style that is starting to take off for inground pools with awesome benefits. Has been used for building construction for awhile now for its insulation value...so no wonder you see it in Montreal! Have a good one!

A LOT of money, i would assume, 15.000 or more🤔🤨🙄
It can add up that's for sure. With doing ICF you can save some substantial dough, but can't dodge the overall high price of concrete.
