    The sonic landscape of this material sounds awesome, through my laptop speakers. I can only imagine what it sounds like in close proximity. You have yourself a pair of great sonic brushes. Happy creating!

      @@mnawara I like it very much! I use the Limiter all the time. Just a few dB to shape the transients and to glue! The coverter is more transparent

    Can this limiter be used as a kind of first "glue" limiter of the mix that goes into computer for final mastering and maybe as the final "all in" limiter at the end of the "mastering chain"? I'm just thinking this could be a great tool for me if I use it on a mix bus to add a little color and a little "glue" with that limiter before going to mastering stage, like you would use a bus compressor ... Or this is just for final stage?

    any comments if have 2 shelfords and then having MBC has any further added advantage, since a lot of analog color is added via shelfords and MBC although a very good converter, can still add something to the overall mix?? My interface is UAD Apollo..

    great video... i have a question.. in my analog chain, My AD is the Burl B2 ADC and the last unit before i hit my Burl B2 is the Maselec MPL-2 Limiter.. Do you think its a good idea that i sell the burl and maselec limiter and get the RND MBC? i am just thinking that maybe with this unit i would have more versatility with the tone shaping options with the transformer/silk options or going clean, the side chain options in the limiter thats not in the maselec...etc..

    • @ProducingBonedo
      @ProducingBonedo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The MBC is def. a level up in converting alone. u also have a lot more Options in colour and most important being transparent, which is my fav here. i am not sure about the limiter. honestly, i don´t use it. Or if then so slighty i guess there would be no difference compared to the maselec. i think software limiting is way better than hardware.
      also:

      at the bottom u can find more audios comparing burl and mbc ;-)

    You need to explain to people the full audio chain - 1. Whatever the source is - D/A ( DAW - converter, and/or etc) -
    if you claim at 0-00sec, Clean A/D - My Question - Where from is Analog Audio coming from,? tape, recorder, Tascam 3000, and etc?? , then show full chain, up to the speakers, otherwise, this video is useless.

      Yes you do have a valid point …. this guy is being deliberately obscure, which is typical of a lot of ‘smart arse’ tech heads who think they know more than anyone else and want to keep it that way. Really Bonedo shouldn’t have bothered even making this video, if he finds it so hard to share the information you are validly requesting. Typical German
