@@ptah23 I saw that! I think Kusman, the original designer, has been bought in to help with it. It’s been rumoured for years though, I’m not sure what’s happening with it now!
@ seems like it’s been years already! I’m glad they’re taking their time on it, hopefully it’s great. I’d consider picking one up just to layer it with the original if the price is right (and if it’s smaller than a family hatchback) 🚗
Thank you! What would you like to see next? I have another synth in the studio I’m going to cover at some point, I’m nervous about doing it justice! I think, at least for now, I’d only look at analog stuff, mostly because as I said in the video I find menu diving through digital synths really painful haha.
@@NevermoreAudio Yeah man, I play mostly analog synths myself. I like the way you make videos though. I guess find reasons to make more videos with your synths, I can see your channel doing really well in that space, given your personality and the way you make content. I only post tracks on my channel but in the demo space/learning space I think SynthTube would welcome you with open arms~ (you don't strike me as a shill)
@@synthsamuraiproductions thank you so much! Was nervous about this one, it’s my first synth video and I wanted to focus more on the sound and character than on the technical deep dive stuff
@@sarundayo haha thank you man! I might develop it into something and put it online at some point - If people are interested maybe I can look into getting stuff onto Apple Music/Spotify etc in future!

Go my man! Great presentation, refreshing format & liking the reference material 👍
Thank you so much man!
Great video and deep dive. Completely agree with you when it comes to having a tactile unit.
Thank you so much! Glad I'm not the only one!
there's meant to be a behringer clone soon

oh really. I could be interested. I love the sound of this thing but it's bloody huge, I dont have space for it.
Behringer hierd the inventor Polivox himself to do a new Polyvox "clone" to be released in 2025/26 ish =)

Great video! thanks mate

Epic! Puts all the fun back into synth 🤘 Mick Gordon vibes!
100%! This is all over the DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal soundtracks, so good.
Something tells me you have been playing STALKER...
Great video as always mate, that synth sounds absolutely sick!
@@Rellik428 I haven’t! Maybe I should? 👀 thank you dude!
the only thing heavier than this synthesizer is this dudes breathing
Cool demo man, do more synth vids! 🦾🤖

@ thank you man, thanks really appreciated. The Polivoks will definitely make appearances in future, even in Mondays video I think!
Great video brother!! Knarly is right.

Gotta drop that track now that you let us hear it mate 👌

beige and shag carpets are the 70s, no?
I thought the 70s were more brown/orange and tassels on everything? 😂
is it modificated with midi?
Yeah, this one is MIDI modded, a stock Polivoks doesn’t have MIDI! The mod is easy to do though, you can buy kits on Reverb!
@@NevermoreAudio nice! I have soviet Electronika EM 25, I want to conect midi to it
@ ohhh man, is that the string synth? I really want to pick up one of those Estradin model D clones but they’re huge!
@@NevermoreAudio yes, this is the most common string synthesizer, I use it with a looper for drum&bass, but I want midi, because the looper is boring)
@ I’d love to hear that!
What a gritty box. Really bad a$$ sounds 😮
It’s an insane thing! By far the meanest synth I’ve heard, I can’t wait to dive further down the synth rabbit hole.
