When I was in my 20s, I found "The Art of the Dragonlance Saga" at a library. I went everywhere trying to buy the book, as it was 1980s and the internet was something in a si fi movie. I asked at Walden books in the local mall, and they ordered it for me. Larry was a god to me (little g). I wanted to be an artist forever, but after being exposed to Larry, as well as Clyde Caldwell, Keith Parkinson, Jeff Easley, etc, I was so awed and humbled. Ive already done an airbrush recreation of Clyde's "Dragons of Dreams" My next one will be Larry's Dragons of Light. This one will be done on my channel here on youtube.
Larry is a great host. Thanks for the great video. If you post another video like this, can you put an in-screen view of what Larry was painting? The way it is Larry appears to be brushing yellow or brown on the canvas, but that is all I can see (very low resolution). Maybe a high resolution upload is necessary. I did like hearing Larry talk as he painted. Thanks!
Elmore is one of my heroes. He's always been amazing. In fact all the 80s D&D artists were their own kind of amazing.
