its not that they cant match in cost...the more difficult part is matching in technology of software and integration with hardware such as batteries and the motor, which they lack...that takes years to develop!

Take away the automatic door openings, and other things not really needed and reduce all the extra costs. Yes in an EV, it is very very important to have those reclining seats because you need to be completely comfortable during the times you have to plug in and stay awhile. It should have heads up display so you wount have to look way over at the computer to check. This has a range of 434 miles which is not bad for an EV. But with a range of 570 miles, I'll keep my jaguar XJl.

That 570 mile range comes in handy. I still don't know why long range is still reserved for the gas car only and neither do you. Even The good people at Tesla in Philadelphia Pennsylvania told me quote, "Have patience because that day is coming." So i will waite along with many who are waiting for the next generation EV with the hopes that these fine qualities and improvements have been applied. I don't have a need for a short range car gas or electric. If electric is all that then where's the american highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric)? Then i can reach Jacksonville Florida in 4 to 6 hours instead of 11.5 to 12 hours or 14 to 16 hours by EV. Now you may not agree with me but do you understand what im talking about? Improve the EV and im all in....
Dont forget the absolutely useless design of the mobile phone charger that requires a separate motor to tilt in order to avoid the phone go flying. Can we also call leatherette or vegan leather plastic, since that is what it is… and please do some research on suede and Alcantara. This here is just a microfiber. Alcantara is extremely expensive, even more expensive than real leather (suede).
