Denis, this was a very good presentation of the features, positive and negative. I really appreciated your specifications shown on the screen in metric and also inches. Nice! One long-term quality concern I noticed during your drive portion, at 15:46 to 15:52 minutes, it appeared the vehicle center screen and dashboard appeared to be vibrating a lot. One thing I was wondering is what the price comparison is at the different trim levels with the other two competitors you mentioned, Zeekr 001 and Denza. Overall a great and informative video!
Thanks for your comment. You are right about vibrating screen, I have not noticed it. The price is comparatible Avatr 12 and Zeekr 001 in respective versions. Denza N7 is cheaper, but if you pick 4WD version with good equipment (not the most eqipped) - then all three cars actually have same price.
Thanks for the review, lots of good info. I like the looks of the car but, the quality doesn’t match the price they want for the them. That wire in the back of the seat is probably for the heating the backrest, that should be under the cover. As large as those doors are, the rear window should go lower. The RWD versions should have adaptive shocks standard, to change along with comfort/eco/sport settings. How did they send out an AWD version without the air suspension? Maybe they plan a version with steel springs (should have adaptive shocks) as an option for those that don’t want the air suspension system, weird. For this to sell outside of China, they need to correct so,things before that, to ensure folks don’t run away from it. For now, the Polestar 4 is still my top pick with the Zeekr 001 second, for a sporty GT car.
I wonder if the car actually had air suspension but, the salesman got the info wrong. Were you driving in Sport mode? I recall you mentioning it felt soft like a waterbed and I know my Audi etron felt pillowy if the suspension was set in comfort mode, with the car set to Custom setting. I kept it in Sport mode for suspension and steering as that offered the driving feel I like. Hopefully you can get the car to do a long drive on the highway, to try out the suspension settings of The AWD and RWD versions.
