- An artist named Lucy Sparrow created an entire pharmacy out of felt. There’s felt makeup, felt toothpaste, felt perfume, and so on. Sparrow says it took about a year to make the fabric shop, and the reactions from visitors have been positive. “People get an emotional response to it,” she said. “I hope that it invokes nostalgia, a feeling of calm, in a place where you wouldn't necessarily feel calm but it offers sanity when maybe you're not quite feeling very sane." #InsideEdition

I honestly love items for kids, I used to adore fake kitchen sets of things “kid sized” so you play pretend adult and do things like “cook diner” or take care of babies” things like that were honestly really fun and I can see children coming to this store to get fake items to play pretend. This is honestly adorable and every little detail is just too cute.

Dayum, I had this massive vintage set of real metal, wood, porcelain and plastic made kitchen tools and ware in 1:8 ratio of astonishing high quality, all handmade from England. My Aunt stayed in England after her USAF husband settled there after his military service on a US/British Airfield and she gufted it to me, when I was a child. But it got all lost over the years of my adventurous life. I adored it so much back then and it hurts me, that I can't hand it down to my three children now. Esp having two daughters aged 6 and 2 at.

I remember seeing a news story somewhere about prisoners who have been in prison so long its hard to get used to the outside world, places like these would be great to sort of acclimate them before they get out without the risk of them smuggling something back in

you know what this reminds me of? when i was a toddler, my parents would always bring me to these playplaces or Children´s Museum... i guess you would call it?? in them, they would have like a little grocery store, but toddler sized, and there would be fake food and fake snacks and fake silverware, fake plates, cash registers, little shopping carts- everything. it was so fun, that's what this reminds me of lol

Reminds me of the fake grocery stores, construction sites and all the other career zones you would play with as a kid in the child designated areas of museums or malls. Can't be mad at her. Yo I thought there was gonna be a major scandal involving people selling fake medicine and registering themselves as actual pharmacists.
I’m no expert on mental illness but I read that, for example, a grocery store is a place for people dealing with depression helps them get distracted at the grocery store when picking items like they’re shopping. Once the the get to the register, they leave the cart with items there and exit. This place can be beneficial for something like that.
