    As a first time mom with a bun in the oven, it's really nice to have things laid out so clearly. Thank you! :)

      Girl, tell me about it!!! I had to avoid going to Mexican restaurants altogether because I just can't resist!

      I had no idea Queso was bad!! I had some yesterday now I'm so freaking worried about everything I eat!

      Queso is just cheese in Spanish. What do you mean by queso? Typically, Mexican restaurants in the us may add Cotija or Oaxaca cheese. I would personally just avoid any cheese served at a restaurant, as I have no idea the specifics of the cheese they use.

    If I’m a vegan, does this cancel out a lot of these concerns when it comes to food?? Seems like a lot of these food poisonings come mostly from animal products. Ofc, will always be washing my fruits and vegs ☺️

    What's "queso" for you? "Queso" just means cheese in spanish. What type of cheese is it?

      Sorry, my bad! Fresca and Blanco queso that are unpasteurized. Unpasteurized is cheese made from raw milk. Pasteurized milk is heated to a high temperature to kill harmful bacteria. Hope this helps!

    Hi plss comment is cinnamon and raw eggs and unripe papaya cause miscarriage?

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Raw eggs puts you at risk for salmonella which can cause you to be sick and very dehydrated, but unfortunately there isn't a definite answer if it is the cause of a miscarriage or not.

    Mussels??? Seafood??? What if you ate them not knowing you were already pregnant?

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sure you're fine 😘! The chances are very slim! Especially if you didn't get sick from them. 👍🏼

      Thank you, I literally had a melt down. I LOVE seafood but I’m done for now. I want a healthy baby.

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No need to melt down! 😝 And some seafood (like salmon) is great for your baby in moderation! Google low Mercury fish and try to stick to that list! 👍🏼

    Are cramps with no bleeding a normal symptom? What can cause it?

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes. Unfortunately cramping is not an uncommon experience during pregnancy. They can happen if you're dehydrated, overdoing it physically, just had sex or for no reason at all. If you start experiencing vaginal bleeding that is more than spotting definitely give your care provider a call!

    Do you avoid “fried” eggs, with a runny yellow? I do, but I miss them so I wondered what your thoughts were :)

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Technically that isn't "raw" so I would still eat "over medium" fried eggs 🍳👍🏼

    • @PregnancyBirthParenting101
      @PregnancyBirthParenting101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol mmmm that does sound good! I would say as long as it doesn't have nitrates then you're probably okay, but double check with your provider.
