LFS has it's own unique vibe, and that's something really hard to achieve for a sim... A personality! It could be among other sims if it had day/night cycle (and they're working on it) and more tracks/ mod support for tracks. The sensation of grip and tyre deformation is more natural than Assetto Corsa in my opinion

Can't wait for the 1000Hz physics update along with the graphics update! Modern sims could learn so much from LFS. Still does so many things better even after all these years. From UI to and especially physics... ♥
Unfortunately, recently my LSV 12 GTR that you've tried being unpublished because the model are retopology from "ripped" game, despite I'm only using for references, but well, if I had free time I might reboot those LSV 12 to get better shape and interior for sure
Been on LFS since 2004 - Still racing on FM Fox Fridays - Its our 700th Race in the series this Friday. Some great teams and social side to the game to LFS too , now on Discord. mind LFS is very modern. I remember REVS on the Commodore C64 the First proper race Sim :-)
@@TraxionGG in LFS, slicks are susceptible to bursting due to high temps and abuse. the way you were wheeling the Lister, it was only a matter of time lol. if you notice the rear getting way too free like that again, you can press F9 to look at the live tire data. it'll show if you have grass/gravel on the rubber or not, as well as the core and carcass temperatures. if it's puncutred, the core of the tire will be black. ✌

Even an arduino could run lfs smoothly tho, i started playing it in a 2 core laptop and always gave 70fps stable, and the game has an option to limit your frames so you can save processing power for online races :). Obviously i had everything in low options, only the resolution was at 720p

It's amazing how much scenery is around Blackwood that you just wouldn't notice when driving the normal layout

What kind of computing power do you need to play this game online? My PC is embarrassingly old and wasn't even hot stuff at the time.
Give the demo a go with a bunch of ai cars, it shouldn't be any different to multiplayer performance wise!
