I have been watching all your videos and you are one of my favorite youtubers and typically I dont write negative things but I really am upset at how you are hanging out with so many people and just came from Texas and can be putting everyone at risk and you have friends flying in to see you. I understand it can get lonely but youre not just putting yourself at risk. Its selfish. This is why numbers are going back up because people our age don't take the necessary measures to stop the spread

I understand people's concerns but also maybe your opinion should be directed at local governments opening things up too soon. Of course there are those who will believe that with things opening up and PPE being more accessible along with businesses implementing safety measures they will relax as well. My opinion is pretty much the same as yours however perhaps just commenting on one person's behavior isn't the way to go

Jeanine I hope you are being safe! I get you miss your friends and family but asymptotic symptoms still affect lives. We all need to do our bit and stay home and only go out for necessities. I miss my family it’s been almost 6 months since I’ve seen them but I rather them safe and I know LA is on the brink of a complete shut down. I do love your content but please be safe out there.

I’ve always loved your content and have watched you since you started. Never have I left a negative comment but I’m just so disappointed. 3 people that I know have died from covid, a friends unborn baby passed away a few days before the due date, my cousin who is pregnant is fighting covid as we speak, and I know plenty of friends whose loved ones have passed. Luckily one of my cousins made it through. You hanging out with others, not knowing who they’ve been around, is irresponsible. I’ve been having a lot of emotional days because it’s been so hard not seeing my family and friends, but I know it’s better to then risking their lives. My dad is fighting his disease and in need of a kidney so I can’t even see him because the doctors said if he were to catch it he wouldn’t make it. I miss my friends so much but everyone’s taking this social distancing serious which I don’t understand why others can’t. The numbers are rising! I mean we are literally in a pandemic rn.

Yasmine A thank you! I’m sure a lot of people are going through the same with their friends and loved ones. Being quarantined can do a lot to your mental health so I understand. But I guess it doesn’t click until it either happens to you or your loved ones.
@@ashleealyssa10 It does do a lot. I haven't seen my family or friends in months because I have to risk my life to go into a hospital everyday. But sure. Throw a party. Don't have any regards to other peoples lives and the disaster state that we're all in at this point. Hope things start to look up for you and everyone else

She was in Hawaii BEFORE covid lockdown was enacted. By the time we were all being told to quarantine, she was stuck on the island. After returning home, she quarantined. Relax.

Long time subscriber here. I usually enjoy watching all of your vlogs and seeing all the activities you do, but I felt disappointed and frustrated watching this one. We are in a pandemic and it doesn’t seem like it is much of a concern throughout any of these activities. I understand not dwelling on it, but there’s also being responsible. After traveling, seeing numerous friends who are outside of your household, along with not wearing a mask around any of these different individuals and groups of people, it all is just really irresponsible. I don’t think it’s setting a good example to your followers. There are a lot of us following the recommendations on social distancing, precautions when needing to go out, and activities to do and not to do during this time and it’s frustrating to see this. Please be more mindful of the severity of this time and the use of your platform.

I love your videos but I’m extremely disappointed! I live in LA and I can emphasize with you missing your family and friends and went to Texas where the cases aren’t as bad. I miss my family and friends too! You mentioned that you needed time to take care of your well being which I totally get. You spent a month or so taking care of your mental state. I totally assumed you would self quarantine for a couple of days once you came back but was shocked to see you didn’t. I think you could have taken a couple of days in isolation assuming you already took care of your mental health. Please be more considerate ❤️
Girl I hate to break it to you but Texas is not doing well with the amount of cases here. It’s one of the worse states! I think right now we are number 2 worse state for the amount of COVID cases! But I agree with what you are saying. I’m shocked she didn’t self quarantine after coming from Texas. It’s really terrible that she’s just happily showing this to her younger followers. Everyone needs to do their part.

VERY! i get we have been in this for what feels like a lifetime but we have to be safe and smart. she just wants to make content for her channel and is naive at this point. it’s selfish for her to be out and about with so many people regardless if she has her mask with her, what point does that hold if you’re just gonna be out with people that look like they’re not taking covid serious. god forbid she contracts the virus but maybe that’s the wake up call she will need. very disappointed in her.

Wait, I'm so so disappointed. I think you going to see your family in TX for a while was completely okay. I'm not sure that CA has a required 2 week self isolation requirement after travel, but I can't understand why you wouldn't. It doesn't add up that it's been two weeks since you traveled. Isolating would mean not going out for appointments, groceries, errands. Seeing friends (especially without masks) seems beyond irresponsible. It's not about what you and your friends are comfortable with. It is about other people, especially older or immunosuppressed, that you may come into contact with. At the Airbnb you're not wearing a mask. The virus can live on surfaces- what if you breathed on some of the plates and cups in the cupboards and ended up infecting your friends' older family members? There is a lot to think about. It's a hard time, but 3 months in, and I can't believe that some of this would not occur to you. I have elder grandparents across states and in other countries that I may never get to see again unless we all join together. Please consider the important role you can have as in influencer.

I usually love your channel and vibe/videos, but I have to say as a healthcare professional, I'm very disappointed on the fact that you held a birthday party in the middle of this pandemic. Especially in one of the hardest hit states, on top of the fact that you just came back from Texas when you should've been self-quarantining. And not a mask in sight on top of that. Do better. I can't continue supporting this channel as it seems like you don't care for the health and safety of others.

I absolutely love watching your videos, but I have to admit that it is quite disappointing to watch someone with such a large public platform disregard health precautions in this way. Hanging out with friends without wearing masks is not the safe thing to do right now. LA is taking a step back because we clearly aren't doing a good enough job at taking the necessary safety protocols seriously. It's easy to think this won't affect you until it does, but we should all be sucking it up and staying as safe as possible so that we can go back to normal soon. The temporary boredom is worth it in the long run if we are keeping as many people as safe as possible.

You went to Texas and also saw people now you come back to LA and can potentially bring who knows what back. You went on a yacht with almost 20 people. Like do the rules not apply to you? Do our lives not matter to you? Do you think anyone actually likes staying home and not seeing their friends?? NO! You said you needed to go to Texas to see your family for your mental health, and I get that, but when YOU decided you wanted to come back to LA you should’ve self-quarantined. Whether it’s legally mandated or not to stay home in your specific area, it’s the responsible thing to do. You don’t need to be seeing friends every week.

I agree with you but 1. It's not jeanine's job to be a stay at home, quarantine advocate; it is one own's responsibility to do what they see fit during these times and 2. Your comment comes off as you ordering/telling her what she needs to do and that's not really your right. Although I agree that people need to stay cautious although understand that with state governments allowing things to open people are going to relax as well as a result unfortunately. There is not a 2nd wave, the first wave just never ended :(

I only wanted to remind her of the current social practices recommend by health officials globally. She has a huge platform and someone could watch her videos and think it’s ok to live life normally again when that’s not the case, especially in the United States where cases are still extremely high.
I completely disagree that one should do as they see fit during these times. If everyone only did what’s best for themselves, then things will not get better. I know staying home all day every day is unrealistic but she has shown us that she’s seen multiple groups of friends over multiple days. And simply wearing a mask does not equate to being safe.

(She’s making money from the posting and as an influencer your audience is a HUGE reason for having the job in the first place lol) We are not stopping her from doing whatever she wants to do, but it’s not okay to avoid precautions and PUBLICIZE faulty actions when she has so many people watching. She could have still done it and NOT post about it, and yeah it wouldn’t be okay, but it would’ve been a better choice as she wouldn’t be advertising ignorance and just keeping it to herself.

I lost my grandpa to covid because people weren’t taking it seriously in the beginning when it spread like rapid fire and I’m still quarantining since I have high risk family members. I can’t watch her vlogs and her instagram for a while because it’s upsetting to me how she’s not taking it seriously when real people have lost family members to this virus.

This was a little hard to watch considering the current state of our world and also knowing that you’re very much aware of it all too. I live in Texas and have had 2 family members test positive in the last few weeks and the numbers just keep going up. I haven’t been totally perfect during this time but I’ve had decency to know my limits and stay home. This along with your delayed response to BLM is just really disappointing. It’s possible to have faith in our Lord while also trusting the science and having compassion for our fellow man. I know, I know, we’re all judging but the content you’re putting out to the world is in your control. There’s a responsibility in that too.
Relaxxxx. Jeanine gave a very timely and appropriate response to the BLM movement on her instagram. She posted on both her page and her story. Additionally, hanging out in small groups - literally 5 people - like this is legally allowable right now. No she's not perfect, but also doesn't ever claim to be.
mganx2014 just because it may be legal, doesn’t make it ok? Every healthcare professional/sensible human being has been begging people to take things seriously. Wear a mask, social distance, don’t gather, etc. She has been doing the exact opposite. People have died because of the carelessness that she exhibits. Just because you support her as a vlogger, as I used to, doesn’t mean it’s ok to support the fact that she’s doing the exact opposite of what she should be doing. I’m not going to blindly support someone like that. It’s because of people like her that there is a second shutdown in California now.

It’s not apparent to many but there is still discrimination happening as we speak and still disregard to equal ability for all people. A colored let alone black person gets covid? I get what you’re trying to say, but the whole picture is that the world is LITERALLY in a pandemic!! You’d be insane to argue that. Jeanine can do whatever she wants, and I have been a fan of her for a long time loving her content, but it’s just the fact that someone might think “oh so my icon Jeanine is hanging out with friends, so I guess it’s okay that I can and have a party too!” Reality is that no one is stopping you, but when you’re in the public eye and an “influencer” you gotta watch what you might be “influencing” someone to do lol. She should use her platform to encourage social distancing and proper cautions. Yeah it sucks you can’t have a real party for your friends, but come on! I don’t think she should be cancelled, it’s just that she should rethink her actions and what she’s conveying to her followers. Self-quarantine is supposed to last for 14 days. Based off her social media, there’s no way she isolated for 14 days. A few days of isolation is useless and not sufficient.
And this isn’t just about quarantining when she came back from Texas. It’s about our DAILY duty to social distance.
from a small glimpse of all her ig stories, you can tell she didn’t quarantine. she came back from a state that experienced an increase of cases and then just started hanging out and is still hanging out with more people. just look at her ig stories. she’s an influencer, if she likes it or not, she needs to set an example but she much rather act as if covid is over. imagine if she is one of the few that don’t show symptoms, all the people she hung around with would be exposed, it’s a domino effect. selfish on her part honestly.

Y’all need to spread love more. It hurts my heart to see so many comments are attacking her for not isolating more. 1. You should not be judging 2. Suicide and depression takes far more people than this coronavirus does. It’s scary to think how many people are struggling with depression because people are telling them to isolate so much. Yes, I agree that we need to be safe with the coronavirus but we also need to think about our mental health too! Please stop attacking people.
I get and respect your points, but if we want the period of isolation to end anytime soon we all need to listen and follow precautions whether we like it or not...or else this sad cycle will never end. People need to remember it’s a WORLD WIDE effort to make improvement with this tragic pandemic, and it’s a very devastating circumstance for so many. There is no other choice than to enforce isolation so we can actually stop the need to. :((
