You should try valerian root instead of melatonin. Valerian root eliminates stress factors so you fall asleep easy, but it lasts throughout the day so you’re in a better mood. Melatonin can make you a little more depressed

I lived in El Salvador my entire childhood and girl we had earthquakes at least twice a week I remember the worst earthquake I experienced in 2001 I saw my house fell apart. That was horrible. The only thing you can do is go under your bed or look for a safe in your apartment.
