The original deep breath focuses on how panicked the team is while the new is more about calming down and take a deep breath. Both versions are pretty good but for a battle theme the intense one is the better option and by that they should use the original to indicate stress and danger.
Personally I think this track could replace tartarus0d06 and become the final Tartarus theme, just like how “Life Will Change” became “I Believe” in the final dungeon (I Believe has the same guitar riff as Life Will Change, same as how this has the same chords as the tartarus theme).

Sorry to disapoint, but I'm certain this won't be a battle theme. We've already seen that the new ambush theme is "It's Going Down Now" (which is honestly my personal favourite battle theme of the series already) AND this song is just lotus juice, there's no big release of build up using the female singer as a lead, like there is in every single other persona 3 battle theme (and honestly every other battle theme it general, it doesn't fit the format)
