None of them have actually had time to process their feelings. They really only found reasons to carry on and finish things. Even their persona changes are all rooted in that.

If half of these lyrics are right, i really like this song as it covers the entire conflict that Aigis is going through in the answer. Not wanting to fight but being forced to. She lost the most important person to her, but the abyss of time keeps making in the situation worse. The path Makoto made for her is now lost, she can never become what she wanted because it does not matter anymore to her. She is going through all of that, yet her friends are now divided by what happened and what they want to do, they force her to fight against one another. She is going back into being a full on machine, something she came to never wanted to be again.

I just realized something....I think after the first chorus, lotus juice's lyrics specifically are supposed to be from the pov of makoto (either the shadowy makoto figure or the actual great sealed makoto seeing everything go on). "There's no returning, no matter how much you want it.", "It burns me to the core on my body, no one knew it" "Feeling half awake and half asleep, I'd rather be asleep and dream the days of peace"? this sounds like makoto is trying to tell the others that he's gone for good, and that while he cherishes the days he spent with them all, trying to set him free would be a very bad idea and that it'd be best for them to just let him rest and live their lives. but of course, they can't hear him....

I’d been waiting on The Answer anxiously ever since I finished P3R, since it’s my first time ever playing both base game and the dlc. The Answer has come into a time of my life where I am grieving the loss of my dog of 16 years, and honestly this battle theme has helped me a lot. It encapsulates a lot of what I feel and it validates it, it reminds me that it’s okay to grieve. I know that this dlc is gonna be especially rough to get through because of my loss, but I’m grateful that it came out during a time where I’m struggling, it makes me feel less alone.

I finished it with a Megidolaon. instant level 99, grabbed messiah, annihilated shadow of the void. Don't increases in volume!

I love that they're using Orange as the main color for The Answer. In color theory, Orange is the opposite color to Blue, which is the main color of base P3. In P3, everyone is united and hopeful. In The Answer, everyone is broken and distraught. Perfect opposites, just like the theme of this song compared to Mass Destruction.
