    Appreciate that someone who actually has color treated/bleached hair and has used olaplex giving a review. I’ve seen so many other reviewers that don’t even have damaged hair which is great but isn’t helpful

      Will it just repair the damaged hair ?
      I mean if my hair is already curly will it make it more curly or it will just repair it?

    I’m really dying to try the CurlSmith protein line. And after seeing yours, Hazel Goddess, and Manes by Mell reviews, I want to try it more than ever. I’m almost out of my Olaplex No. 3 and about to get my highlights touched up. So hopefully I’ll be getting this in my next paycheck!

    Yay been waiting for this one! I love what the curlsmith side did to your hair! So much volume and definition! Also love that it already has protein in it because I always feel like I need to do both a protein and moisture mask after olaplex. Nobody got time for all that. Okay okay you got me convinced now lol! I can’t wait to see your review on the whole protein line. 😍

    I just ordered the Curlsmith Curl Salve product. My hair is curly underneath but my top layer is straight. It could be damaged from the sun or not good hair care in the past. Do you think this product will make a noticeable difference? Thanks.

    So I bleached my hair twice and the first time was the beginning of July 2020 and then I went back to add more blonde august 2020.. and the second time around I lost my curls :((( The brown part of my hair is still curly but the blonde is so straight :/ I’m worried the blonde is too damaged to come back to live, is that possible?

      It depends but I urge you to try. If you don’t have any protein products then trying this may help a lot. It won’t give you the best curls ever since it works with what it has, but it may help your hair health in total

      Yes they have been sold out it’s so amazing 😩 but I have a deep conditioning vid coming with masques without protein! It should be up this week 💗

    I cannot use Olaplex, because it contains an ingredient which is a strong allergen for me. The whole head itches and dehydrates the hair. You say Curlsmith is a viable alternative?

  • @anitasosa3755
    @anitasosa3755 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Forgot to mention Curslsmith is a protein treatment while Olaplex is not. Feels like quite of a relevant information in terms of making a decision, since so many curlies' hair don't go well with protein.

    Loving the videos and content, have you used any co washes? Would be great to see a review on that, I heard curlsmith co was is good but I do love having a cleansed hair and scalp

    How would you compare this to shea manuka protein treatment? I don't they can't really compare but I can't afford both (I live outside USA). Which in your opinion repairs most damaged bleached hair (some strands on my hair are completely straight) and which lasts longer? Thank you!

    • @isabellevasquez7433
      @isabellevasquez7433 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Manuka treatment has actually very little protein and isn’t a bonding treatment it’s just a protein treatment. Totally different

    I am a curly head and recently (2 days ago) I bleached my hair. is it okay to use the curl smith bond curl on my next wash day (like 2 weeks from when I bleached it)?

    • @curly.glorii
      @curly.glorii  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes! it helps those of us who have bleached hair the most, I recommend once a week, that's how much I've been using it & I LOVE it!

    Honestly the regular olaplex looks better, your curls look more wonky with curl smith

    • @bettylouis795
      @bettylouis795 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree, the shrinkage was the first indicator for me that the olaplex was it. I do think people, especially people with color treated hair do need to use more protein (I swear youtubers make protein out to be dangerous when it’s the TYPE of protein that matters) I don’t understand why they say they repair all three bonds. Very misleading! Hydrogen bonds are broken by water and rekindled when hair is dried, salt bonds are very weak bonds that make up very little strength in the hair and are not too important whereas disulfide bonds are where the core strength is. I believe the curlsmith is good based on the proteins and blend of acids like citric and maleic acids that most brands use as “bond builders” when really they just smooth the hair cuticle and condition it. Still a good thing, but it’s not putting the disulfide bonds back together. Wish brands would stop branding things as bond builders when it’s just a great conditioner.

    Hi! New subbie here!
    Is this video sponsored? Because all the videos comparing Olaplex 3 with Curlsmith Rehab are sponsored. If that's the case, shouldn't it be mentioned?

    • @missytaylor1gmail
      @missytaylor1gmail 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think it’s sponsored and there are other videos on these products that aren’t sponsored. Sometimes they are sent the product for free but that doesn’t mean they’re getting paid.
      But I think she actually bought it herself...
