It's unfortunate that Wireless Android Auto is unable to be used with the 10" screens, like in the Limited. So, Hyundai allows me to wirelessly charge my phone, but since I can't use wireless AA, I have to plug in my phone anyway, thus eliminating the need for wireless charging. That's a very annoying oversight in an otherwise nice vehicle IMO.
Will there (hopefully) be a firmware upgrade to allow for Wireless AA?
Even with a cable, I can't get full screen on a 10" ...am I doing something wrong?
@@insanityod2348 I don't think so. Even when I use the cable, AA doesn't go full screen for me either. Just takes up the left side of the screen.
@@insanityod2348 yes that's the bitter truth . Then what's the use of 10" screen apart from looks

Just to touch on this...the reason why even my brand new ioniq5 cant use it wirelessly is due to apple forcing companies into a contract. Apple play garbage works but you cant with android auto. Once the contracts are up more than likely will be able to. The other option is you can try a bluetooth dongle an have it put into the port an hooked to your phone. This should trick the car to thinking its wired
Imagine not being able to connect to Android Auto wirelessly in 2024
Beat me to it
Can't get AA to work properly! Voiceguidance stops as soons as I start a call! Sucks that it can't be wireless in a 2024 Santa Cruz Limited
Can i hook up 2 phones with android auto? IE; my wife's phone & mine?
No wireless option!
You guys need to work on that!
Had nothing but problems connecting to android auto since my 2020 Kona electric was new with 3 different phones. Conference calls don't work. Whoever is in the Kona is in the call for several seconds and then supposedly still in the call but can't hear or be heard by others. Randomly in the middle of a conversation it switches to privacy mode and the radio or Bluetooth music starts playing. Apple phones seem to work fine though. I like Hyundai but wish these issues would get fixed. Service department says everything is fine.🤦 If I have the same issues with my new Ionic5 when it comes, I guess I will start switching to Apple phones.

Nice!
I can't get AA to work on my galaxy s22ultra. I'm driving a 2023 santa fe and the AA option doesn't even appear. It works for my wife's phone, she has a pixel 8. I have the app on my phone but I don't get the option to use it. Idk what I'm doing wrong.
Why oh why can android auto not be full screen on 10' monitors?
Has this been resolved yet? It's super frustrating
Because TomTom's contract snuck in a clause to screw over Hyundai. Read before you sign.

Apple garbage contracts is why
Good
no
lol 3:08 check engine light is on …. Concerning lol
Frequently I lose USB connections while my phone is hardwired. Does anyone have same issue? I have tried several USB cables thinking potential cable defects, but none helped.
How come the Elantra has WiFi but the Sonata doesn't
Can't get maps or android auto to work. :/ tried so many tips
Oh
What's the point of wireless charging if I anyway have to connect a cable for AA?? (Like someone mentioned here..)
I love my new Palisade, but coming fromy Acura MDX with wireless AA this is the only part (well this & the fact that thw mirrors aren't Auto fold) that feels like a downgrade..
C'mon you guys can do it.. im waiting for an OTA update.. Please don't disappoint..
Oh & while am at it - I don't have where else to leave a tip directly - one really sweet feature that my MDX has is that can auto lock if you walk away with the key fob.. so when my hands are full i don't have to manually do it.. loved it..
Wireless uses sooo much battery, I want to connect to wired, but it's not working. Hyundai Kona 2022
